Columbus Short is dealing with some serious legal issues, and he was arrested days ago for beating a man down at a bar for making some disrespectful comments about his wife. But it also turns out that he has been accused of also getting violent with his wife too in the past.
Interestingly enough, new gossip suggest Columbus’ “Scandal” role may be in trouble because the show’s creator Shonda Rhimes has a strict policy against any of the actors on her shows getting caught up in controversy.
Hip Hollywood reports:
A source close to production tells HipHollywood exclusively that the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes doesn’t “tolerate negative press” and that she “issued him a warning to get his personal issues sorted out.” We are told that if the actor “continues with his violent behavior,” he could get the ax from the show.
This isn’t the first time Shonda has considered giving one of her show’s stars the boot. A few years ago she fired Isaiah Washington from “Grey’s Anatomy” after he made gay slurs on the set. He will make his first appearance back on the show since his firing in an upcoming episode for a cameo though.
Well damn. I hope he gets his act together then because I love him on the show.
Dumba-s.
Smh. If he loses this role, he can’t blame anyone but himself.
Shonda does not play!
They could replace him with Idris’ fine a-s!
Agreed LOL.
Nooo! Get it together man!
Welp, he better get all of his baggage in order. He has a role on a hit show and that doesn’t come often for any actor.
Maaaaaan after last week’s episode I sure thought about this…
