Ciara is expected to give birth to her first child with her fiancé Future any day now, and she claimed recently that wedding planning was coming along just fine. But now Future is telling the media that the date for the big day hasn’t even been set.
He tells Access Atlanta:
“We don’t have a date. She was getting everything situated. She has to wait until we have our baby because you know, she gotta fit for the dress.”
Future’s comments are drastically different from what Ciara told E! News last November regarding looking for a wedding dress:
“I haven’t started looking yet, but we actually just talked yesterday about our date, so we know the date we want to do now and I’m excited.”
Now of course all we can do is speculate, but we do have to wonder just why the couple went from having a wedding date set several months ago to no date at all.
LOL. Future probably only proposed because he knocked her up. They may never get married. This is why Ciara should have never given this Super Baby Daddy the time of day.

Well if the are waiting for her to have the baby, why won’t they do it how Wiz and Amber did and go ahead and marry in the courthouse and have the actual ceremony later? This sounds like a pretty weak excuse to me.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. Wiz and Amber married in the court while she was pregnant. She didn’t want a ceremony until she lost the baby weight but Wiz was intent on marrying her before that anyway. Hmm…
Exactly! He ain’t trying to marry her that’s why!

That’s not a very good excuse if they already had a date set last year. But whatever. Ciara is really trying to be with this man despite all his issues so good luck to her.
I’ve been saying for a while now that I don’t think they will ever get married. Any man who will knock up three different women and not commit to any of those women obviously has commitment issues. And in the beginning of his relationship with Ciara, they say he was still messing around with one of his baby mamas. Ciara can do so much better but she’s stuck with him now.
Dumbest excuse ever. She knows when she is due. She can set a date. And I do believe they did have a date last year but maybe Future is getting nervous or something.
Sounds fishy to me. She was pregnant when he proposed and they had a date set last year, so why put it on hold for the baby now?
Like someone else said, if they really wanted to get married they could pull a Amber and Wiz and get married at the courthouse and have the actual ceremony after she sheds the baby weight. Someone has cold feet and I’m think it’s Future. He’s used to being a baby daddy but the husband thing is new territory and he’s probably terrified.
I hope everything works out man but I’ve always wanted Ciara to do better.

Have they even been together long enough to be thinking about marriage? Just because they are having a baby doesn’t mean they need to get married. It’s something about Future that has me skeptical and I think Ciara is too desperate to make this work.
I hope this works out for Ciara in the end. If she’s happy I’m happy for her, but he’s not exactly a catch. At all.
I like them together. I hope it works out.
Are people really surprised?
This is what happens when you only get engaged because of a baby. They weren’t even together long before Ciara got pregnant. A year is not enough time for two people in the industry.
