Tamar Braxton is joining her hubby Vince Herbert and stacking up legal problems of her own. According to TMZ, the singer was just slapped with a lawsuit and it’s because a songwriter is claiming she stole vocals for her “Love and War” album:
According to a new lawsuit … Emmi Kozulin claims she co-wrote “One on One Fun” with Angela Hunte. Kozulin then recorded a version of the song on her own.
Kozulin claims Hunte gave the song to Braxton for her album “Love and War.” Kozulin admits Hunte had the right to license the lyrics … but Kozulin claims Braxton’s recorded version included vocals from Kozulin’s version … and that crosses the line.
Kozulin claims — as co-writer of the song — she’s entitled to 50% of the royalties … plus damages.
Tamar’s rep claims she should not even be targeted in the lawsuit because it’s 100% the fault of the producer of the track.
And she was just on Twitter talking about how she will never be cheap because she’s not thirsty. *giggles*
Oh the irony.
Welp. Lawsuits are just a part of the music business.
Unfortunately. Someone is always being accused of stealing. That is why artists have to always have a good lawyer on deck.

This is like the third time Tamar and Vince have been accused of shady practices in the studio. They have to tighten up.
She used someone else’s vocals though and didn’t make sure business was taken care of? Interesting.
Right. That’s what I’m trying to understand.
Technically, she can be sued as well since it’s on her album so what the heck is her rep talking about?

SO did she get a nomination for this song? Well she can forget about anyone in the industry working with her. Wow and she was on IG talking about she is on BEY, NIKI, RIHANNA AND CHRIS BROWNS level. Well tamuppet you should have just kept singing back up for your sister if you knew you couldn’t do this solo. Now your name is crap in the industry and how did your husband let this happen. It makes sense now that those 5 other labels dropped you. Don’t go to the BET AWARDS cause they are going to BOO your a-s. How dare your camp say it’s the producers who should be sued and not you. I hope they get paid well this might teach you lesson.
By vocals do we literally mean vocals? Or do they mean the melody, phrasing, harmony, etc?
Vocals look online the court docs are on there. Yea she stole the song and didn’t give the girl her just due. On TMZ they had it on TV today and Harvey said she is in a lot of trouble. The girl got proof that is her voice on love and war and a song called one on one fun.

TAMAR AND HER GAY PRODUCER DIDN’T WRITE THE SONG LOVE AND WAR BUT ON THE ALBUM CREDITS TAMAR SAID THAT THEY DID WRITE THE SONG.THEN THE GIRL WROTE AND RECORED THE OTHER SONG AND TAMAR PUT IT ON HER ALBUM AND ON THE CREDITS SAID IT WAS HER (TAMAR) SINGING THE SONG.SO YOU SEE TAMAR IS A FAKE AND DO YOU SEE HER ON SOCIAL MEDIA SAYING IT IS NOT TRUE? No what’s wack is Tamar did know about this and did nothing. Tamar went on IG and social media saying the producer’s did that she didn’t but didn’t she produce this album? Radaronline showed the court documents were the songwriter sent to Tamar asking her to pay her for the song and her vocals or take it off the album, and Tamar did nothing so she left the girl no choice. This seems to be going on with Tamar and Vince lately, I know the person who made suits for Vince for the grammy’s and she had to take him to court cause he didn’t pay for them, yea that’s wack.
