Kanye West has been very vocal about his passion for the fashion industry and he wants badly for the fashion elite to take him seriously as a fashion icon.
And although Kanye was able to finally convince Anna Wintour to let Kim cover Vogue, it appears most in the fashion industry still don’t take the couple seriously.
In fact, fashion publicist Kelly Cutrone didn’t have nice words for the couple’s meaning to the fashion industry. She tells the New York Daily News:
“I don’t think there’s one person who really works in the fashion industry who gives a flying f*ck about Kanye West.
“I think they have no influence in the fashion world whatsoever. I mean, most people who watch the Kardashians’ (reality show) can’t afford Givenchy. I don’t mean to be mean. Are (counterfeiters) on Canal St. benefiting from it? Probably, but that’s not the fashion world.”
She then says Kimye’s tight relationship with Givenchy frontman Riccardo Tisci isn’t impressive either:
“There’s a movie called ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Givenchy is a good brand, but is it cutting edge? No. It’s a gazillion-year-old luxury brand from Europe.”
Cutrone then goes on to say she does recognize Kim and Kanye’s significance in pop culture though:
“Have Kim and Kanye had an impact on pop culture? Absolutely. Do I think that (Vogue editor-at-large) Hamish Bowles wakes up in the morning, calls (former Vogue editor-at-large) Andre Leon Talley and says, ‘Did you see those pants that Kanye was rocking on ‘SNL’?’ No.”

No lies were told. Kanye and Kim always look like they could just explode on themselves every single time they get an invite to a Givenchy event like that changes the way most people see them. And Kanye needs to stop calling himself a fashion icon because wearing the same smelly leather pants every day is not fashion!
Kim’s been feeling like a thug lately so we’ll see if she tries to clap back on Twitter.
For the few fans that do go see Kanye in concert might as well get a refund because of this interview I expect a full 2 hour rant from Kanye at his next concert lol.

I just read about this a few hours ago I ain’t surprised Kris created these spoiled entitled monsters. I read she got mad because the server wouldn’t serve her alcohol she is only 18. The server could have lost his/her job I don’t blame them for not serving her.
