Months ago Floyd Mayweather informed his Instagram followers that his engagement to Shantel Jackson was over because she got an abortion behind his back, and Shantel later slapped him with a lawsuit because she felt the move was an attempt to assassinate her character.
Floyd has responded to the suit and he claims Shantel doesn’t have a leg to stand on because she wanted to be a public figure.
TMZ writes:
Now, Floyd is trying to get the several claims dismissed — and in new legal docs, he focused on her claim that he violated her right to privacy. He starts off his argument in the most Mayweather way possible:
“At age 37 I am an undefeated boxer. I have been the world champion in five different weight divisions.”
He goes on to explain that when he met Jackson, “she asked me to help her become famous” … and stated that her only semblance of fame was appearing in 7 music videos.
Floyd says he used his celebrity to help build her up — and says they became so famous, people were interested in every aspect of their relationship … including the breakup.
Which is why Floyd says he went to social media earlier this year and told the world he ended things with Shantel because she had an abortion behind his back.
Shantel is suing Floyd for defamation, battery, assault, invasion of privacy and more.
Floyd needs to stop. He was wrong and needs to grow up.

Floyd is such an immature douche bag. He didn’t need to tell the world she got an abortion. He definitely did that out of spite.

This doesn’t make any sense. Just because you’re famous, it doesn’t mean you can get on Instagram and tell someone else’s business because they used to date you. Floyd might as well write her the check now.

Miss Jackson is not innocent. Only women who are bitter retaliate if she has moved on and is happy it’s nothing Floyd could give her. She was already with Nelly days after their break up. If she wanted to continue to live that lifestyle she should of had those babies. He bought her the body she has now he would of bought her another one. This woman is clearly an opportunist.
