The Carolina Panthers are having a tough season but they shocked their own critics when they annihilated the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, however, star quarterback Cam Newton’s celebration may have been short-lived.
According to multiple reports, the professional athlete was injured in a car accident earlier today.
Charlotte Observer writes:
A car crashed and overturned on the Church Street bridge over I-277 about 12:30 p.m. and ambulances are on the scene. A second car involved in the crash is also in the road, near Hill Street.
An Observer photographer at the scene said Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was injured in the wreck.
As of now, details are still limited.
I’m glad he wasn’t killed. I still don’t like him though.
LOL. I’m not a fan either. He seems super arrogant. Either way, I’m glad the kid was killed. He has plenty of time to mature and humble himself.
Oh no not Cam smh. Prayers up for him.
Damn son.
The Panthers are in serious trouble now.
Not my booski..
Not good.
This could have been much worse. Keeping him in my prayers.
I think he’s going to be out for a while.
