R&B singer Ciara is planning on making a huge comeback, and hours after releasing a new music video to her single, “I Bet,” she confirms to the media that she will also be going on her first tour in six years.
She says in a statement:
“I am so excited about this tour. It has been almost 6 years since my last tour. I feel this album is my best body of work. It is important to me that my fans have the greatest show experience possible. On the ‘Jackie’ tour, fans will get a chance to know me more intimately, jam to good music, and most importantly be entertained. I can not wait!”
Ciara has named her upcoming album “Jackie” in honor of her mother.
In more music news, Kendrick Lamar stopped by Big Boy’s new radio show Monday (Big Boy’s Real 92.3 Radio Show) to drop a freestyle on the anniversary of Biggie’s death.
In his verses, he touches on politics and issues in the black community. You can take a listen below:

I must not be hearing what everybody else is, but this new song ain’t doing it for me. Folks were talking about her “slaying” on IG with the video, and I was like “Meh!” I mean, she’s pretty…..
A tour? I don’t know if she needs to do a tour again just yet. Her albums and singles have been tanking.
Everyone is trying to do arenas but they don’t have the fan base to pull it off. Iggy’s tour is about to be cancelled and Ciara will struggle too because she hasn’t been hot since like 2004. She needs to do small venues until she can put out more bangers again.
That freestyle was everything. I’m glad to see he’s still hungry and hasn’t let the success make him get lazy on the lyrics. And as far as Ciara is concerned, is she going to be performing her new music too?
If she doesn’t get another hit this era, that tour is going to flop. Kendrick killed it.
I swear I want Ciara to win so bad, even if I’m not a fan. But her decisions SUCK!!!!! The song, the video, the tour, the name of the tour…FUTURE…everything. Ugh!!! She makes it difficult to root for her.
