One of the NFL’s best wide receivers just confirmed some good news.
Detroit Lions star wide receiver Calvin Johnson just announced he is now engaged to his lady-love Brittney McNorton.
Detroit Free Press writes:
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson got engaged this week while in Baltimore for the Ed Block Courage Awards, Johnson and his fiancee, Brittney McNorton, told the Baltimore Sun.
McNorton, who works for the Lions, told the newspaper that Johnson proposed to her along Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
“It’s been a very enjoyable, very memorable trip out here in Baltimore – for many reasons,” Johnson said in a video posted on the newspaper’s website.
Asked why he decided to pop the question in Baltimore, Johnson said, “The situation was just right, just happened to be right, we were on vacation, so why not?”
