When Dame Dash and Jay Z decided to sell off Roc-A-Fella Records, many speculated a rift occurred between them, and Dame even went off when “The Breakfast Club” host Charlamagne brought up Jay during Dame’s recent interview.
Despite that, Dame wants people to know he has no beef with Jay.
MTV writes:
Dame Dash has been asked about his perceived falling out with Jay Z many times, and in his Culture Vultures book, the co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records breaks down exactly what happened from his
perspective.“What we did was create a company together,” Dame explained in the audiobook. “We sold it. He went corporate and I decided to stay independent. There was no beef. Pause.
“I don’t have anything but positive things to say,” he added. “What Jay wanted to become, he became.”
It’s sad all this man has been reduced to is talking about Jay Z. As egotistical as he is, I know he’s salty about that.
But he shades Jay every chance he gets. He definitely has beef but it’s one sided. Jay doesn’t think about Dame like that. LOL.
I don’t know who Dame is trying to fool but it’s so obvious he is still salty over the situation with Jay Z.
He needs more people. Even his little quote here had some shade in it. He said Jay went “corporate” while he went “independent” which is a shady way of saying Jay is a sellout and he’s real. I can’t with this man.
He’s so jealous. He thought he made Jay but Jay has surpassed him in everything. Seethe Dame. Seethe.
I’m so tired of him. His arrogance was ultimately his downfall.
Sure…
moral of the story is there is no prestige in independence it’s like self-endorsed whiteball.
he dang sure aint fine no mo like he was in paid in full lol
We don’t believe you, you need more people.
