Sanaa Lathan, Morris Chestnut and Michael Ealy were hoping their new film “The Perfect Guy” would open strongly at the box office, and now projections indicate the film may be number one in its opening week.
USA Today writes:
Stalker thriller The Perfect Guy snuck its way to a weekend box-office victory, narrowly defeating M. Night Shyamalan’s horror film The Visit.
Screen Gems’ Perfect Guy pulled in $26.7 million for the weekend, a million ahead of Universal’s The Visit, which tallied $25.7 million, according to studio estimates. The two PG-13 films were neck-and-neck right into Sunday.
Glad to hear it was number 1…. I heard it was terrible-but I’m going to go see it this week sometime …. Gotta support black films….
I love it.
The trailers looked really good and they promoted very well. I’m definitely going to see it next week during a weekday opening weekends to busy for me.
Yassssss
I have to go see this.
Look at God.
Blah!
Snooze fest!!
The movie was really good but i have been seeing mix reviews. I would just advise for you to go see it yourself and go from there. I think for it to be a all black movie it was very well written and executed..
