According to Page Six, some in the Seahawks organization are starting to feel like Ciara has made Russell become more of a “celebrity quarterback” and they aren’t happy about it.

Not everyone is thrilled about Russell Wilson’s very public relationship with Ciara.
After inking their Super Bowl-winning champ to a four-year, $87.6 million deal in July, the Seahawks aren’t exactly singing the praises of their “celebrity” signal caller as the former NFC West powerhouse stalls at 5-5 following Sunday’s trouncing of the 49ers.

While ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is just one of many media members to allude to the friction between Seattle brass and their A-list starter, others are taking a more blunt approach by bashing Wilson openly on social media.
“@DangeRussWilson pull you head out of your…,” Doug Hendrickson, who is teammate Marshawn Lynch’s agent, fired off in a since-deleted tweet on Nov. 15, after the Cardinals pummeled the Seahawks 39-32.
Wilson’s ever-growing fame and social status remains as big an issue in some corners as the Seahawks’ middling playoff hopes.
Damn Ciara just can’t catch a break.
It’s ridiculous Ciara is being blamed for Russell’s lackluster performances this season. He’s the one who has to focus and help his team. Not her. I get so tired of the women always getting blamed when these athletes start losing.

They sound extremely stupid. Do they expect him to be alone and not talk to any woman? Some QB’s are married so now their wives are the blame when they don’t perform well on the field. I guess all the losing teams are with Ciara. Russell is a professional and he is playing this sport knowing what it takes to win. For whatever reason other than to blame Ciara or any woman for that matter, he’s not/they are not winning as it will take more than him to win. I just hope the team can pull it together.

I am football person and the Seahawks have problems outside of Russell Wilson that need to be addressed the offensive line is terrible they can’t protect Russell worth a damn and its the reason why Marshawn isn’t running well. The defense isn’t as good as it has been in the last couple of years. Also the offensive coordinator is terrible doesn’t come up with any quality plays (that’s why Marshawn’s mom went off on him a couple of weeks ago) Russell is always scrambling. Has Russell played well no he hasn’t and it is possible that he could be distracted by his relationship Ciara but to try to blame her for his performance isn’t fair and it’s especially not fair when the team has problems outside of Russell.
Seahawks just ain’t that special this season. The Panthers have the better defense and it’s their time.

He needs to be attending less red carpet events and taking less pics acting like step daddy. His focus needs to be on the field instead of being a celebrity. But in no way is that Ciara’s fault. These people are reaching, and that’s saying a lot coming from me.
The whole team needs to step up though. Not just Russell. Sherman ain’t even playing that good either.
