Stephen Curry’s Wife Ayesha Causes Some Drama on Twitter

Apparently things popped off after Ayesha Curry claimed she doesn’t understand why a lot of women prefer to put on less clothes as far as today’s fashion is concerned.

Vibe writes:

Another day, another Twitter debate.

In many ways, 2015 was a big year for feminism, and Ayesha Curry is closing it out with a conversation about modesty. Taking to Twitter to share her thoughts on “the latest fashion trends,” wife of NBA MVP Stephen Curry got the Internet talking last night when she professed that she prefers to “keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters.” In a mini rant, Mrs. Chef Curry made her case for choosing “classy over trendy:”

Ayesha’s tweets caused a bit of a tizzy because some felt she was slut shaming other women for their fashion choices.

What are your thoughts?

  1. How dare she speak her mind about her own fashion! (Sarcasm) I’m going to take advice from a married woman w/ a seemingly good home over some of these other celebs who will never be wifed.

Keep speaking modesty to a generation who is always so lost!

  2. She’s entitled to her opinion but I have to wonder what really brought this on..Did the good sis find out Steph has a side chick?

    1. I know he’s in the NBA but I don’t think he’s like that. Plus she never really leaves his side. She travels to every game and she’s right there to greet him when the game is over llh.

  3. Ayesha didn’t say anything wrong this was blown way out of proportion it wasn’t even that serious. She just stated her preference that’s it people need to get a damn life.

  4. Why are people mad about this? She wasn’t disrespectful. She’s very religious and these are her views. And this isn’t slut shaming by the way. That’s a big reach.

  5. I think people were just waiting to pounce on her anyway. They think her life is too perfect and they need a reason to attack her.

    1. That’s exactly what it is this fake outrage ain’t fooling me some people were looking for any excuse to get on her with more popularity comes more jealousy.

  6. I’m a feminist and even I don’t think this is slut shaming. Feminism is all about women having a right to choose and she’s just tweeting about her choice. It’s Sunday but I guess faux outrage never takes a day off.

  7. Steph looks like a little boy in the face. Anyway, I don’t think she was trying to be messy. She was just giving her two pennies. I can guarantee you those who feel some kind of way didn’t like her to begin with.
