On last night’s episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kenya Moore made a bold move and attempted to visit her mother.
Her mother, Patricia Moore, refused to answer the door, and even locked the door after asking Kenya to leave.
Kenya has now decided it would be best not to reach out to her mother again, but old interviews from the former Miss USA indicate Kenya may have ignored her mother too.
Click next for the details.
Kenya caught lying again? You don’t say. LOL.
Yeah I’m like what’s new?
What did Kenya lie about?
I’ve been thinking for a while now that there has to be more to this story that Kenya isn’t telling us. Do I believe her mother abandoned her? Yes. But it’s odd to me that even Kenya’s Aunt Lori wasn’t comfortable about the way Kenya rolled up to her mom’s house with all those cameras.
There’s always more to the story with Kenya: the truth. All this woman does is lie and embellish things just to have a storyline. It’s all she knows how to do. Carlos eats it up and so do her delusional stans. How do we know her mom didn’t answer the door because she wasn’t feeling talking about something so serious in front of cameras? Especially when Kenya paid her dust after she won the pageant. All I know is Kenya will look so thirsty if her mom ever gives an interview and spills the tea and it turns out Kenya lied for sympathy points.
I agree with you. I would not have opened the door either. I just did not understand why she would do that just to get a story line. She could have gone by herself and without the cameras seemingly the sensitive nature of this. If Kenya was sincere; and I believe she is and owed the mother’s truth of what happened, this is the part she did not and should not have allowed the cameras. Lori was upset because I am sure she felt that Kenya went too far.
Aunt Lori is two faced and can’t be trusted. She will always side with her deadbeat sister. Kenya should have never trusted her.
I don’t really see an issue here. Kenya’s mom neglected her and tried to come back around after she won Miss USA and refused to apologize. I don’t blame Kenya for not returning her phone calls. Regardless, her mother does owe her an apology for what she’s done. There’s no excuse for ignoring your own kids.
Oh here you go. No one is excusing Kenya’s mom for being a deadbeat. The problem is it’s looking more and more like your fave lied for public sympathy about some things she really shouldn’t be lying about. And this won’t be the first or last time.
Girl, why do you even bother? Kenya’s hypocritical stans refuse to accept that she’s a lying piece of trash.
Thank you. This is common sense but they will bash Kenya anyway as usual.
I want to hear what her mom has to say. We all know Kenya lies and will lie just to seem more relatable.
When has Kenya lied to be more relatable? She’s the most authentic person on RHOA.
I read the rest of her mom’s interview and she said the door is always open. That was back in the 90s. I wonder what happened since then because she’s not here for Kenya in 2015. At all.
Kenya better hope her mom doesn’t get the itch to do some interviews.
Did Kenya forget about this interview?
I really think this is a sad situation. Being 15/16 years old having a baby; I can see the disconnect. I almost think it may have been better to put Kenya up for adoption as she wanted to do in the first place. That was the first notion that she did not want to have or care for a baby. They asked to keep her so she then gave her baby up to the father’s side. I don’t think that she would be crowned mother of the year but honestly I don’t see what she did wrong. She tried to put Kenya up for adoption. Whatever her reason, she tried to do what she thought was best. She will have to live with that.
I think Kenya is angry because her father’s side was poverished and her mother’s side was well off. Of course Kenya wanted to live with her mom’s side. life was better or so it seems. Also, I don’t know if it’s just me but her father does not seem educated at all or very little at the most.
Her mom is trash.
I don’t understand how anyone can sympathize with a deadbeat parent. If this wasn’t Kenya we were talking about, the comments on here would be very different. Not to mention if it was a man abandoning his child.
I don’t care for Kenya….but her mom is the reason for how messed up she is. Okay you gave your child up because you were too young and fast or w/e…..but was the mom even involved in Kenya’s life once she grew up and became grown herself?? and then some1 said that Kenya’s mom is from money and her dad’s fam is poor or w/e. So why didn’t Kenya’s mom fam make sure that a well to do family adopted this chick, they could’ve still had close ties with her….smh…I think all this turned this woman into the adult brat that she is…in which I feel kinda sorry for Kenya cause I was raised to feel sympathy and have empathy for another person something Kenya knows nothing about cause she was never shown that.
I said that The mom side was well off and the father’s side was poverty. Actually, this is what her father’s side said. In regards to my statement, I just think Kenya has a lot of resentment. There are articles saying that she was very disrespectful to her grandmother. As far as her mom is concerned what I am saying is that if you listen closely; Kenya’s mother never intended to keep Kenya and wanted to give her up for adoption from the very beginning but the family is the one who stepped in and like Kenya’s dad said is that he had to beg her to not give her up for adoption. For w/e reason she wanted to give her up (possibly too young), It may have been better for Kenya to be adopted by a family. And because the family decided on keeping Kenya it seems that the hopes were that her mom would become connected to her. Adoption is not abandonment nor is the person a deadbeat. Adoption is a good thing (although not all adoptions are good) but for most it is the best for the child. I just think that because her mom never connected with Kenya, then she is being dealt a negative hand. In reality this was a negative situation from the beginning. Kenya needs answers and the only one that can answer those questions is her mother. Kenya is looking for an apology but maybe she should be looking for reason as opposed to an apology. An apology may not be needed. Just the reason and if they can move forward then it will be a start.
I can’t stand Kenya’s looney a-s but I gotta say her mom ain’t sh-t.
This was certainly not the way to go about getting her mother’s attention at all . This should have been done via private arrangement .I don’t feel sympathy for Kenya because she’s such a conniving , messy , combative , and evil person .I think it’s unfortunate that her mom abandoned her without explanation given directly to her , they clearly have similar character flaws. Kenya further proves just how looney she is , by showing up on a bus full of cameras out of nowhere .I wouldn’t have answered either , wdh would she want to discuss personal matters on camera with Kenya ? Kenya will never be happy , as long as she continues to self loath .
It has to be more to the story than this! Key a aunt was upset at how Kenya approach the situation with cameras in all! I don’t understand Kenya she should have went there alone first and then bring the cameras but of course Kenya being attention seeking that she is HAD to do that! I think the whole trip was a storyline for TV! Look at the family reunion shirts it says KENYA family reunion not the family name. That says ALOT I thiink he mom does need to talk to her but also Kenya has to understand why her mama made that decision. Would she be better off if she stayed with her mother and not gotten the love from her mother and her mothers family that she needed? yall would be talking shit if she kept the baby and killed instead of making a decision that provided Kenya a loving home y’all want to bash!
