According to reports, Afeni Shakur suffered from cardiac arrest.
Page Six writes:
The Marin County, Calif., sheriff’s office tweeted the news early Tuesday.
According to TMZ, paramedics responded to calls of cardiac arrest from her home late Monday. From there, she was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 10:28 p.m.
Afeni held her late son’s catalog of music and image close to her heart over the years.
She signed on to produce the 2003 documentary “Tupac: Resurrection” and recently produced the new biopic “All Eyez on Me,” which is set for release this November.
Oh no
2016 has been a beast.
It really has!
Amen.
She will be missed. Rest in peace.
So sad rest in peace.
She did so much for the black community. Rest in paradise.
This makes me sad. I mean I never got over Tupac’s death. I think of how different rap would be right now if he was still around.
Rest in peace.
Well she’s with 2pac again. And they are definitely in a better place.
Damn.
Oh wow.
Rest well Afeni.
She was a black panther and gave birth to one of the greatest rappers of all time. She had a hell of a life. Rest in peace queen.
