Jaden Smith Wants You to Know…

In a recent interview with Nylon Magazine, Jaden Smith makes it clear that he’s going to keep wearing skirts, and those offended will just have to get over it because he’s not going to stop:

Smith donned mom jeans and denim jackets for Nylon’s August issue, and spoke openly on why his personal style helps other gender non-comforming youth express themselves.

“The world is going to keep bashing me for whatever I do, and I’m going to keep not caring,” Smith told Nylon. “So, you know, in five years when a kid goes to school wearing a skirt, he won’t get beat up and kids won’t get mad at him… I’m taking the brunt of it so that later on, my kids and the next generations of kids will all think that certain things are normal that weren’t expected before my time.”

  1. I don’t understand why men wearing skirts is such a passionate cause for him. Has he said anything about these recent deaths of innocent black men by police?

    1. Bam! This is exactly what I came on here to say. How can you be more passionate about fashion than your own people right now? That’s why I’m so done with Kanye. And ain’t Kanye his idol too?

        1. What is a retweet going to do? Kanye cares more about being accepted by the white fashion elite than police brutality.

    2. Thank you. Sometimes it’s like this child is on another planet. Completely delusional about what black people are going through right now. All he cares about is wearing skirts.

  2. *blank stare* Umm, ok. I know Jaden has a good heart and he gives back a lot, but I really think he should should be this passionate about things that are more important than men wearing skirts.

  3. I agree with the other posters. There’s way more things going on in the world right now than men’s rights to wear skirts. Please.
