Mary J. Blige sat down and had a pretty interesting conversation with Hillary Clinton via Apple Music, and despite the serious topics discussed, folks have been mocking it.
Page Six writes:
A pair of clips teasing Mary J. Blige‘s interview with Hillary Clinton on her upcoming Apple Music show “The 411” isn’t winning over social media users.
The teaser featuring the R&B singer crooning Bruce Springsteen’s “American Skin (41 Shots)” before clasping hands with Clinton was instantly mocked online after it was released following the presidential debate Tuesday by Apple.
Another clip showcased Blige telling Clinton that “a lot of people in my community think Obama was blocked in congress because he was black.”
“How are you going to do what he wasn’t able to do?” the “No More Drama” and “Real Love” singer asks Clinton.

Interestingly enough, Mary took to Twitter to respond to her critics in a now deleted tweet:
Why did she delete it if this is how she really feels?
I think people were really laughing at her singing. I love her but she sounded terrible.
That interview was just cringeworthy.
People need to stop coming for Mary. She doesn’t bother anyone.
She can’t sing. She’s also the wrong person to be doing this kind of interview. I don’t understand why black people are coddling Hillary. Ask her the tough questions and make her work for your vote.
Meh, Mary is still a legend. We’re just living during a time where everything goes viral and anyone can become the source of humor. She’ll be ok.
Sh-t some people just feel like she was c–ning. Luckily this can’t compare to Crispy Chicken Gate.
She continues to make a fool out of herself, even with Kendu gone.
I thought the meme was funny as hell……sorry LOL
