Mendeecees Harris is currently behind bars for a federal drug charge, but that hasn’t stopped him from being a crucial part of all the drama going down on the current season of “Love and Hip Hop New York.”
Yandy Smith has been going back and forth with his other baby mamas, and Mendeecees isn’t helping things at all.
And after the latest episode, we have to question why Samantha seems to be the only one calling Mendeecces out.

I just think it’s because a lot of women don’t expect much from men. They will fight the “other woman” when he cheats, but never hold him accountable for cheating. Sadly, even being college educated doesn’t change that mindset. Yandy has a college degree and doesn’t even blink when Mendeecees tells her how trifling he is. It’s sad.
I agree. There’s a lot of college educated women putting up with a lot of mess out here. I just think a lot of women are so desperate to be married or in a relationship that they lower their standards and because of that, they don’t even realize how much of a loser Mendeeceees is. Yandy is a perfect example of this.
Samantha has more sense than Yandy does but most people won’t admit that sh-t because they need to believe Yandy is some hood version of Oprah. But Oprah would have never got caught up in no sh-t like this. Not officially marrying him doesn’t make Yandy less stupid either. You got a got damn college degree and you’d still rather live like you’re in some hood romance novel. When you take your a-s to college, those are the men you need to be picking through for potential partners. Not drug dealers who hate wearing rubbers. And if you’re too busy on your grind while in college to date, sh-t make sure your standards are high as f-ck after you graduate so you’ll be equally yoked. This right here is dumb as f-ck and Yandy should know better.
Honestly I think it all goes back to having self esteem. If you love yourself, you’re not going to want to be with someone like Mendeecees. I just sit back and watch how he plays all of these women even to this day. He hypes up Yandy and has her thinking she won when he’s not even a prize. He hypes up Erika and tells her what they had was serious back in the day while telling Yandy she was nothing. Then he hypes up Samantha and pretends he’s so concerned about the kids when he really is more concerned about what the mothers are doing. It’s a hot mess and I’m embarrassed for all these women.
I’m confused too. Like people are really talking bout some #TeamYandy and #RelationshipGoals when it comes to Mendeecees and Yandy. It’s baffling and sad as hell.
Meh, well a lot of women are s-xist. They don’t believe men can be faithful so they blame the other woman/women instead. But men know this and use this to keep doing what they want to do.
Short answer, because they think he’s cute. For a lot of women that’s enough to put up with BS. So they relate to Yandy.
I don’t get it myself. He’s the root of all their issues and his mom is also another problem because she’s his biggest enabler.
He’s attractive so people are willing to give him a pass for everything he has done.
UB trust and believe a lot of us see how trash Mendeecees is. I completely agreed with Samantha when she said he keeps up all the mess and cheated on all of them.
I think people have just bought into the image Yandy and Mendeecees have been giving them for the last few seasons. But if Yandy is willing to lie about being married, I think more people should start to question the image.
If you look good to most women, you can literally get away with just about anything. Now I don’t think Mendeecees is fine but from what I read online a lot of women do. So I cosign the people who said that already and I’ll add that I feel like deep down inside Yandy knows Mendeecees can’t be trusted and that’s the real reason she never turned in the marriage certificate.
Mendecees is obviously the root of all this but Yandy won’t do anything because she’s that desperate to say she’s a wife and flash her ring in everyone’s face. I will never understand women like this. A ring and a title shouldn’t have to cost you your sanity and self respect.

I feel like out of all of them Sam has the most sense cause she sees MDC for what he is. I was totally taken back when he pretty much told Samantha she shouldn’t even be cool with Erika because according to him Erika violated while Sam was pregnant as if he didn’t know any better not to cheat and then throw Erika under the bus whether its true or not I seriously don’t believe Sam cares….she doesn’t want him she just want Yandy to stop lying, being delusional and show respect
Hmm very good question. Maybe immaturity plays a factor. Yandy has made a fool of herself all season long. I remember that video she made on IG of her just showing off her ring to some rap song in the background on Instagram and now we know she’s not even legally married. That’s a sign of immaturity. I just don’t think a grown and mature woman would give someone like Mendeecees a pass and behave the way Yandy has been behaving.
