Waka Flocka has been getting lots of backlash on social media because he claimed he’s not black/African-American in his latest interviews.
To recap, here’s what he said when he stopped by Hot 97:
“I have no African descendant in my blood, like I’m Native American. Literally, I’m a Cherokee, I’m a Blackfoot, I’m a Red Tail Indian. That’s what’s in my blood. And the other is mixed with European. For somebody to tell me not to kneel, you’re crazy.
“A lot of people in America are Indigenous people. You’re not from Africa. But that’s a whole nother conversation…”
In a recent Instagram video, Waka responded to the backlash and wrote the following caption:
Instead of judging me ask yourselves why…
Why Waka ghetto a*s talking like this.
Why Waka saying all this woke sh*t.
Why Trump not…
Why the media ignore real issues.
Why we support xyz.
We all have to fix ourselves to see the real problems #HaveABlessedOne

Just stupid and ignorant why would he even say this smh. Especially at a time where we need to stand together more than ever sigh.
The lengths some will go to denounce who and what they are. Its his right to remix rewrite his reality. just know When you are publicly known and make such an announcement during a time (when its very necessary) Black people are promoting and celebrating being unapologetically Black having someone we thought was “family” who looks like family but says they aren’t, you will hear from US…. LOUDLY.
As for Tammy more than once she’s opened her mouth and it was obvious her a-s was actually doing the speaking. They are equally yoked.
Waka could be mixed with Indian and White but that still doesn’t stop him from being a black man.
