Mariah and Toya discuss her clash with the other ladies the previous night.
Mariah says she didn’t come to New Orleans to argue with anyone, especially Quad. She’s also accepting that she may never have a close friendship with Quad again.
Meanwhile Heavenly and Quad discuss Mariah being there.
Quad says Toya is angry that people didn’t get upset about Mariah being there. Heavenly says Toya is messy and Mariah needs validation from others.
Contessa says her and Heavenly are in a good place after having an honest conversation. She’s glad she didn’t have to leave New Orleans early.
Simone wants to make sure all the ladies will remain peaceful and have a good time for the remainder of their time in New Orleans.
Dr. Heavenly and Dr. Simone have an emotional moment.
While most of the group goes go out for beignets, Simone takes Heavenly to a voodoo shop. She tells her to be open-minded but Heavenly makes it clear she is uncomfortable.
“Simone, if you want to learn something, read a book, b*tch. We don’t have to experience it.” – Heavenly
Heavenly agrees to go eventually but requests they pray first.
When they get in the shop, Heavenly says she’s nervous.
When the clerk comes by, Simone asks him to educate her on voodoo.
She asks if it’s possible that someone can come to the hotel and do a healing ritual on the group. This upsets Heavenly.
“If I wanted someone to heal me, this would not be it. I would go Jesus or God.” – Heavenly
Simone says they should try something new since nothing else has worked.
They start arguing and Simone calls Heavenly combative. She also says she should open up her mind to other beliefs.
When she tells Heavenly to, “Walk it,” Heavenly gets angry and storms out of the shop.
“You wish I would walk it? F*ck you.” – Heavenly
Simone follows her outside and Heavenly breaks down outside and tells her she won’t participate.
“I’m not trying to do this in a bad way.” – Simone
They decide to drop the subject and go get a drink.
When they get back to the rest of the group, Simone explains what happened at the voodoo store.
Toya and Mariah make it clear they aren’t interested in messing around with voodoo.
Heavenly then says that Simone asked for a voodoo expert to come to the hotel and help them.
“It’s been cancelled. Heavenly, cut up on me, it’s been cancelled.” – Simone
The group makes it clear they are relieved that the voodoo experiment won’t be happening.
Dr. Jackie suggests they have a forgiveness ceremony instead to move forward with one another.
When they sit down for more drinks, Toya gets accused of not knowing how to dance. Simone then says Mariah can actually dance and Toya says she can’t dance better than her.
They proceed to have a dance off.
Both dip it low and twerk.
They declare Mariah the winner.
Toya calls Quad out.
At the forgiveness session, Dr. Jackie says it’s good that everyone was able to coexist for most of the trip.
But she wants everyone to really forgive one another.
Heavenly says she owes Mariah an apology. She apologizes for taking verbal jabs at Mariah’s mother.
Mariah apologizes too and while she forgives what Heavenly said about her mother, it’s up to her mother to also forgive Heavenly or not.
Mariah also says that she was hurt when Jackie said she was like H*rpes. But she apologizes to Jackie for being hurtful to her.
Jackie says she’s over their issues and she apologizes for what she said.
Heavenly says the problem people may have with Mariah is she talks about what others have done to her but she doesn’t hold herself accountable for her part.
Simone asks Quad what it will take for her to forgive Mariah.
Quad says that it’s more than enough for them to be cordial.
Heavenly asks can there actually be forgiveness.
“It’s been five years.” – Heavenly
Toya says being cordial and bringing positive energy in the room when someone is there is another. She says Quad is being dishonest because she is very angry and cold towards Mariah
Jackie puts things into perspective and says that batting cancer twice, not being able to have kids and now losing her marriage hurts more than anything the ladies have going on with one another.
Everyone gets teary eyed and Jackie also officially welcomes Dr. Contessa in the group.
“I think we’re headed to Atlanta with some great energy.” – Simone
Contessa recaps her time in New Orleans with Renee and says she got into it with Heavenly over Quad. However, they made up and she thinks she’s in a good place with the group.
Simone and Cecil catch up.
He asks her how the trip was.
Simone says she thinks it was overall a great trip and she enjoyed staying in the Lucifer Suite which included a stripper pole.
“Wasted pole.” – Cecil
She says that she knows they need to put in the work to save their marriage. Cecil agrees and said they will need more than one therapy session.
“We need another one.” – Cecil
They argue over who should call and set it up and Cecil says it’s easier for her to set up because her schedule is all over the place.
Simone says when he wants to do something, he usually takes charge.
When she tells him she’s not going to the other house and plans on sleeping alone at their other house, Cecil seems disappointed and they hug each other coldly.
Mariah catches up with her mother Lucy, and discovers her mother has done a little redecorating.
Lucy asks Mariah how the trip was and says that the girls had a cold reaction to her at first.
“Wasn’t nothing wrong with you coming.” – Lucy
Mariah says she doesn’t really understand what some of the ladies are mad at her about.
She also tells her that Quad was really furious.
“She’s intimidated by you.” – Lucy
Mariah says Quad needs to grow up because it’s been a long time. Plus she also knew the other ladies before Quad did.
Lucy says the whole group needs to grow up. “We mostly get it from our mommas,” Mariah jokes.
Quad and Dr. G have another messy moment.
She says she’s been ripping and running all day running errands. She’s also cooking.
Dr. G says he appreciates what she’s doing for his office. She reminds him that she hasn’t felt appreciated at home.
He tells her he feels like he’s being thrown under the bus like he’s not doing anything for her and she’s so unhappy.
She tells him she just feels like she doesn’t get enough emotional support and intimacy that she needs from him. He gives that to his patients.
“You’re my number one priority.” – Dr. G
“No, I’m not.” – Quad
He asks Quad if she’s done talking because he has more to say. This upsets Quad and he says it’s hard to work so much and come home to someone who says he isn’t doing anything right.
He tells her to tell him specifically what she needs.
She says that he doesn’t always call her and tell her where he is. He gets angry and says she’s “full of sh*t” and doesn’t even answer when he calls. He also says she blocked his number.
Quad says Gregory doesn’t make her feel loved.
He says she still hasn’t told him what she needs. She says she wrote it down three years ago and she will get it for him.
He then gets angry and walks out the house with his golf clubs.
“I’m done!” – Gregory
“So you gonna go play golf instead of figuring this out?” – Quad
He speeds away in his car and Quad says to herself that she’s not going to keep “doing this by myself.”

Dr. G is over Quad and out of damns to give.
Why does it seem like Quad is trying to make him look bad so she won’t look bad for divorcing him? I think that’s why he’s so angry. He knows what she’s trying to do.
Simone did the most with the voodoo stuff. I can’t believe I actually agreed with Heavenly about something.
Yes, I believe this also. She feels like she is in a place where she can take care of herself and no longer needs him and now she wants out. Now it makes since why she doesn’t want kids. Cuz she has no intention on being with him much longer. Take note Quad the grass is not always greener on the other side. There issues seems fixable, the question is do they want too.
Quad needs to stop lying to herself. Everyone can see she’s still pressed by Mariah.
Dr. G asked her twice what he needed to do for her and she didn’t answer his question. Instead, she goes upstairs to get some papers. I’m on Dr. G’s side on this. If she can’t tell him what she needs from him, then there is nothing that can be done to salvage the marriage.
I felt sorry for Quad. What kind of husband walks out on his wife when she’s expressing herself? Would he do that to his patients? He kept cutting her off when she was speaking. His communication style with her is very abrasive and abrupt. Clearly we don’t know everything however, the least he could do is have a civil conversation. Smh ??♀️
Besides Dr. Jackie, I feel like these marriages can be saved. People just have to communicate better.
Dr. G is probably just bored with her & her crap. This isn’t the first time this has come up between them and for her not to be able to name what her issues were 1,2,3 is bullcrap, she has to go get some pad, is she for real? I don’t blame him I would have duffed on her dumb butt, too. Quad is full of it. I just hope she doesn’t wind up being sorry. You just don’t pick up a Doctor husband everyday.
