Tracee Ellis Ross Considering Appearing on Less Episodes of ‘Black-ish’ over Salary?

“Black-ish” star Anthony Anderson was trending on Twitter, and it’s all because a new report claims that Tracee Ellis Ross is not happy that she gets paid less than him for her role on the hit ABC show.

It’s also being reported that she’s thinking about appearing in less episodes as a result.

  1. Ugh I hate it when black women get involved in white feminist movements. They don’t give a damn about black women. Anyway, they should give her a raise. But if she’s not a producer like Anthony is, they shouldn’t make the same amount. If she wants that kind of money, she should try to produce some episodes too.

  2. If Tracee isn’t a producer, she can’t demand to make the same salary as one. But a raise is fair since her character is so loved and she won a Golden Globe. To me that is fair.

  3. I think black women need to first understand how important strong negotiation skills are. Always negotiate! Don’t take a salary you aren’t happy with just to get on if it’s something you’re not ok with. Speak up early!
