Torrei Hart sat down with Page Six for an interview recently, and she defended posting a video to her Instagram account of her and her son at a shooting range.
She says he was safe with her, as she taught him gun safety. Torrei also says that she is a military veteran and was the perfect person to make sure her son, who’s into video games, was safe.
Well, I’m a vet. I served the country and I’m an expert shoot. My son… he’s actually ten now…He’s into “Call of Duty” and video games like that so, it was a lesson for us.
I taught him how to load the gun. I taught him about gun safety. And if you teach your children about safety, it becomes a lesson and learning versus looking at it in a negative way.
When she was asked how Kevin felt about the Instagram video, Torrei said she had to remind him that their son was in good hands with his mom.
At first, he was like, ‘Torrei, you’re posting that?’
Then when I explained it to him, I had to remind him that I am a vet and I am very well-trained in weaponry… I am an expert shoot.
And then he was okay with it.
Check out the full interview below.
I didn’t think it was a big deal.
It’s not.
I don’t think people realize how many parents take their children to the gun range and teach them gun safety. My dad took us to the gun range and out in the field we country and taught us how to shoot. It’s not that big of a deal.
Will she ever get tired of answering questions about Kevin?
What exactly is she supposed to do since they asked her… somebody always got a problem with this woman smh. What about the fact that Kevin is asking her about the stuff she post but won’t check his McRib about the bs she post… ?
I laugh every time someone calls her McRib.
Girl bye.
She will forever be linked to Kevin. But don’t forget, he still talks about her in his interviews too.
I mean you do make a good point. It goes both ways.
People do the most. Taking Hendrix to a range is not a big deal at all.
We live in a PC society. People get offended by anything. I had no idea she was in the military though.
I think it was a smart move on her part. At least she was able to show her son that guns are serious and he needs to be safe with them.
I can’t stand people who make something out of nothing.
This is not a big deal, whyte ppl have their kids out hunting at 6
Curious if anyone can confirm Mrs. Hart’s military service? Nothing in any of her online bios I was able to find mentioned service to her country. The use of “Expert Shoot” make no sense.
