LHHMIA: Veronica Defends Using the N-Word + Gunplay Goes off on Keyara

Trick vents to his road manager who is also a close friend about his recent conversation with Joy.

He tells him that Joy says she wants a divorce so he wants to plan a divorce party to celebrate his return to the single life.

He also wants to invite her to the party since she wants the marriage to end.

Lil Scrappy is enjoying his new life in Miami.

“I’m actually feeling blessed right now to give my life a new start.” – Lil Scrappy

He invites Shay over for dinner and she plans to keep her guard up.

“My past right now is telling me to run for the hills…” – Shay

Shay thinks seeing Scrappy again can help her get closure and move forward in her life.

Scrappy tells her that he misses her and feels like they can try to be together again.

He tries to flirt and asks her if she can do like old times and massage his feet. She turns him down and reminds him they are taking baby steps.

Amara hangs out with her mom at the strip club, they have an emotional moment.

Amara vents about her career and says she can’t understand why she’s not a mainstream artist yet. Her mother says she thinks Amara needs more money invested into her career.

He mother feels guilty that she can’t help her and she wants to get another job so she can help Amara.

“I know, I don’t want you to get another job, you know?” – Amara

They both start crying as Amara says she’s tired of faking like she is doing well financially.

Amara tells her mother to just keep being there for her and she’s going to make things happen for herself. They hug it out.

Keyara is angry that  Gunplay is back on drugs.

She meets with Chinese Nicky to vent about it all.

Chinese Nicky tells Keyara that Gunplay was shook when she mentioned Keyara’s name in the club recently and Keyara tells her she discovered coke residue on his cash.

Keyara says she thought by moving to Miami, that she and Gunplay were building something together.

“I thought we was on the same page…” – Keyara

Keyara then gets emotional.

Chinese Nicky tells Keyara that she needs to tell Gunplay she knows he’s back on drugs but she says she’s not mentally ready to do it because he’s a different person when he’s on drugs.

But she knows she has to do it so she will.

At the salon, Joy gets a package from a stripper.

It turns out to be a huge invitation to Trick Daddy’s divorce party.

“I want out of this marriage but throwing a party is messy as hell.” – Joy

Joy feels Trick is being disrespectful and he’s pushing away people who care about him.

Trick’s manager Dawn says that Trick thinks she’s over the marriage because he has Lupus. But Joy says they have known about his Lupus for ten years.

She points out that since Trick can afford to plan a lavish divorce party, he should also have the funds to to pay her what she feels she’s owed.

Joy says she will confront him at the party.

Steph and Veronica catch up, Veronica defends using the N-word.

While Veronica is recording in a nearby studio, Steph comes by to support and talk.

Veronica informs Steph of her recent confrontation with Jojo.

She says she didn’t want to cut up at the restaurant but it’s on the next time she sees Jojo.

Trina then walks into the studio and speaks.

Trina tells Veronica and Steph to focus on their music and stay out of drama.

Trina also calls Veronica out for using the N word in one of her songs. But Veronica defends this and says she should be able to say it even if she’s of lighter skin.

She then says that when she’s in a room full of white people, they treat her like “other,” so she feels like she can use the N word in conversation and in her music.

Trina gives her the side eye. In a green screen interview, Trina says she was just trying to give Veronica advice but she’s just going to sit back, watch it unfold and mind her business since Veronica isn’t hearing it.

Veronica feels she can say the N word because she’s from the hood and believes she has African roots (she says her great grandmother is from Africa).

Shay meets with Chinese Nicky, Chinese Kitty and Dawn in a parking lot.

She tells them that she feels it was weak for Chinese Nicky to have pulled her hair from the back. But Nicky says she was under the impression that Shay was fighting her daughter Kitty, so she went in on the attack.

Shay starts arguing with Kitty after Kitty says that she had Gabby’s back, and Shay says that she still has beef with Gabby.

This is when Shay takes shots at Nicky and Kitty’s looks and Nicky is not having it.

“You got some nerve! You look like a f*cking ant eater, b*tch!” – Chinese Nicky

At this point security intervenes, and Dawn says that Chinese Nicky and Chinese Kitty were posted on Scrappy’s Instagram page.

Shay is determined to give him an ultimatum the next time she sees him.

Young Hollywood comes through for Amara.

After having an emotional conversation with her mother about crossing over into the American market, Amara decides to get serious and write some new music and head back to the studio.

She meets up with Young Hollywood and he plans to have her music played on a very popular radio station in Atlanta.

He introduces Amara to the DJ Stephie, and they do an interview over the air. Young Hollywood says their business relationship was rocky at first because Amara got mad at him for keeping it real. She rolls her eyes.

The DJ debuts the song on the air.

“This is a vibe.” – Young Hollywood

In a green screen interview, Amara says she is grateful to Hollywood for giving her the opportunity.

Joy confronts Trick at the divorce party.

Scrappy and Miami Tip come out to support.

Shay arrives so she can talk to Scrappy.

She tells him that she has an issue with Kitty and Nicky.

He tells her he was introduced to them recently and he’s supposed to make some music with Kitty.

Shay tells him he can’t work with them and Scrappy says she can’t tell him what to do because he’s a single man.

Shay gets angry and walks out.

“F*ck you.” – Shay

Scrappy shrugs his shoulders and appears unfazed.

Joy arrives to the party.

Trick gets on the microphone and throws some shade.

“Joy just walked in looking like a stripper.” – Trick

He brags about having his side chicks in attendance.

Joy walks up to him and hands him the bill for her attorney.

Trick says he will give her the money the next day and Joy is surprised.

Keyara crashes Gunplay’s video shoot.

She gets annoyed when she sees him filming a scene of coke being cooked.

She accuses him of tweaking and shows him the cash wth coke on it.

“What is this?” – Keyara

“It looks like some blooka.” – Gunplay

She asks him if he’s high at the moment and he starts screaming at her.

In a green screen interview, she says drugs turns him into a mean and nasty person.

“You ain’t even yourself no more…” – Keyara

“You don’t know me, man!” – Gunplay

He then throws a chair across the room.

She tells him to be with a woman who is okay with him doing drugs cause it ain’t her. He tells her to leave and she tells him he needs to pack his things and move out.

  1. Why are nonblack people so pressed to use the N word? Does it make them feel hip? Cool? Because they have nothing to say when black people face injustices in our community. They definitely have nothing to say then.

    1. Yes actually. It does make them feel hip and cool to use words we use, because everything we touch becomes hip and cool once we’re involved. They still need to cut that sh-t out though.

  2. Trina should have dragged her a-s at that moment. The fact that she accepted that bullsh-t that came out of Veronica’s mouth does not sit well with me. She was probably thinking that Veronica would get dragged by Black Twitter so she didn’t need to say anything more, but I’m disappointed Trina didn’t go all the way in on her ignorant a-s.

  3. Veronica thinks cause she dyed her hair blond she’s fooling someone, well you’re not cause you open your mouth and everyone knows you’re fake, you’re not a white girl I don’t care how light your skin is, you better hope they don’t ask for your green card.
