Trey Songz Declares Innocence + Claims Domestic Violence Charge is Extortion Attempt

Earlier this morning, Trey Songz turned himself in to police, and was charged with Felony Domestic Violence. This stems from the allegations made by Andrea Buera, where she claims he beat her.

According to TMZ, Trey and his lawyer posted bail and immediately took to social medial to proclaim his innocence. In fact, he claims Andrea is lying on him for a money “come-up.”

TMZ writes:

The singer turned himself in, with his attorney Shawn Holley, for the alleged incident involving a woman he was out with in L.A. last month during NBA All-Star weekend. He was booked at 6 AM, and released shortly after 8 AM. He posted a $50,000 bond.
Songz is accused of brutally beating Andrea Buera at a Hollywood Hills party where she claims he was upset because she was talking to another man.
Right around the time he surrendered for booking, Songz tweeted, “I am being lied on and falsely accused for someone’s personal gain.”

The accuser Andrea Buera claims Trey Songz beat her so badly, he gave her a concussion. However, TMZ also claims Trey’s lawyer spoke to LAPD detectives, alleging Andra’s story is full of holes.

  1. We’ve seen him be violent and throw a temper tantrum on stage so I don’t doubt he’s possible of this.

  2. I think it’s interesting how all these men are saying it’s not true but, the receipts don’t add up. Nelly said the same thing and now he’s got multiple women saying he assaulted them. I can’t say what’s true, however; I will say that I most definitely believe that what happens in the dark eventually always comes to the light in time.

  3. Definitely saw him push a woman in the crowd on a video that was posted on here. So yes, I believe he beat this woman.
