Watch: RHOP Newbie Candiace Reveals Her Mother Pays Half of Her Mortgage

On the current season of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Candiace Dillard is getting adjusted to being the new girl in the group.

She’s engaged to her fiance Chris, and she has made it pretty clear that being with him can be viewed as a downgrade since she has lived a privileged life thanks to her mother.

Her mother is paying for the couple’s wedding and it turns out she’s also paying half of the mortgage.

This comes up when Gizelle Bryant straight up asks Candiace what else her mother is paying for.

The looks on some of their faces are pretty interesting after Candiace admits her mom pays half the mortgage.

  1. Now see this is what I don’t get about Candiace. It just seems like she’s getting ready to marry down. And her momma pays for just about everything. Her weave line, her mortgage, and her wedding too. You kind of have to wonder if she’s just desperate to get married because I’m not saying any real advantages to go through with it besides being on this show. And even with that, it’s not a guarantee she will get another season. She may just be a temp until Charrisse is back full-time.

  2. Wth! Let me get this straight, her mom pays half her mortgage the house is partly in her name she even have her own room! she funds her business, and she has the nerve say stop popping up at MY house then you have a man sitting there riding the wave off of mom’s money? Now they said he owns a restaurant? Did momma help him get that too? Where does mom get all this cash does anyone knows what she do? Idk how Candace was a good fit for the show, she doesn’t live anywhere near Potomac, she’s not a wife or even an ex-wife. maybe the producers knew her situation would create a lot of buzz.
