“Insecure” star Sarunas Jackson sat down with Hollywood Unlocked for an interview recently. During the interview, Sarunas, who plays Dro, reveals fans will learn if Dro is telling the truth to Molly about being in an open marriage.
And according to Sarunas, he thought it was explained clearly last season.
During the interview, Sarunas said the following:

One, we’re gonna explore some characters lives that we haven’t dug into the first two seasons. So, we’re gonna get to know some people a little better.
For me… For Dre, there’s obviously the question of if he’s telling the truth or not, which I felt we have confirmed. But, apparently not… You’ll get your confirmation that first episode if he’s telling the truth or not about having an open marriage.
