Heavenly and Mariah go at it, again.
The friction is still thick at Dr. Heavenly’s house.
Dr. Heavenly is still ranting about Quad saying the other ladies aren’t being sisterly towards her. This really did upset her. She then says that if Toya can forgive Mariah for lying on her and saying she said something foul about her daughter, then Quad should forgive too.
Mariah then tries to correct Heavenly and says she didn’t lie, and Heavenly storms off in annoyance to sit with Contessa and Simone.
Not too long after this, Mariah then walks over towards where Simone, Contessa and Heavenly are sitting. Heavenly repeats that if Toya can forgive Mariah for lying about what caused their brawl by the pool, then Quad can forgive the whole group for their current issues.
“Why is everything against me?” – Mariah
Heavenly then says that Mariah lied about Dr. Damon being a cheater and she has no receipts.
“You’s a lying, dirty b*tch.” – Heavenly
They start arguing.
“Find your mama!” – Mariah
“I know where my momma is. Do you know where your dirty, ugly a*s momma is?!” – Heavenly
“Take her in the house! B*tch your house nasty! Pressure wash this motherf*cker! You done set us all up for motherf*cking contamination! This nasty a*s house!” – Mariah
Toya walks Heavenly back into the house to calm her down as Simone tries to cool off Mariah.
After Heavenly yells that she wants Mariah out of her house, Mariah says she’d prefer to leave than be kicked out. So she grabs her things and makes her exit.
Quad then comes back out and says that she feels like she was mistreated and misunderstood. Heavenly apologizes for going off on her. She then says it’s best Mariah stays gone as she would rather talk to Quad without Mariah being there anyway.
So Simone and Quad try to talk things out once again. Some tears are shed by Quad. Simone says that the difference between them is Simone was open with “her sh*t” and Quad has not been.
Progress is seemingly made with Quad and the rest of the group.
Dr. Jackie arrives.
She immediately asks how Quad is doing. Simone makes it clear that she feels Quad has been trying to play her.
All the women express to Quad that they feel like she neglects the group and they just wanted to be there for her. Quad then breaks down crying and says she has to keep trying to pretend she’s happy when she’s hurting.
Annoyed with Quad’s tears, Heavenly asks why she’s staying in the marriage if she’s not happy.
In a green screen interview, Quad says she likes to deal with pain on her own.
“I’m sorry if I made y’all feel outcast from me.” – Quad
She just wants a safe place to talk about things. Dr. Heavenly says she just doesn’t want to see Quad go through pain alone.
Simone says again that Quad can’t treat them like dolls and put them back on the shelves when she wants to. She needs to treat people how she wants to be treated.
Heavenly stresses that this moment shows that they do have a true sisterhood.
Quad says in a green screen interview the she loves all the women but it will take time for them to get back in a good place.
Toya is still trying to figure out what to do about her strained friendship with Contessa.
Mariah drops by Toya’s place to catch up.
They discuss the drama at Heavenly’s place. It’s made clear that Mariah is done playing around wth Heavenly. While she doesn’t want to give her another reaction, Mariah willing to keep hitting below the belt if Heavenly does.
Toya asks if Mariah really has receipts on Dr. Damon and Mariah says she does. But she knows things have gotten too dark between them.
They then talk about Contessa. Toya feels like Contessa should own what she’s done to hurt their friendship. Mariah believes that Contessa will eventually hear Toya out.
“I think I may need some help.” – Toya
“Pray on it.” – Mariah
Gerald makes a major promise to Contessa.
Contessa’s father Gerald is getting ready to go back home.
Her kids are sad to see him go because they have been enjoying his company.
She goes by the guest room as he’s packing and hugs him. It’s been bittersweet to have him home. She’s devastated that he has prostate cancer.
Time is so important now.
They talk about some of the major moments Gerald missed in Contessa’s life. She would make up lies to herself as a child about why he wasn’t there for a lot of major moments. It became harder to do that in high school.
Gerald says he will call Contessa about each update he gets from his doctor.
She tells him to enjoy his life because chemo didn’t save her mother. So she believes you have to live your life no matter what.
Things get really emotional when Contessa says she wants to get a mastectomy. Her mother had breast cancer. She wants her dad to be there for her on that day and he says he will be there for her since he wasn’t there for her mother.
They both shed some tears and hug each other tightly.
“Love you, Daddy.” – Contessa
“I love you too.” – Gerald
FITNI Field Day is around the corner again for Dr. Jackie.
This will be the event’s second year. She wants it to be indoors this time around.
Curtis comes by the office with flowers. Jackie tells him she will need his help planning everything. He missed the last one because they were separated.
She breaks down to Curtis all the current beefs in the group.
Jackie is hoping she can bring everyone back together but Curtis isn’t really a believer just yet. But he will help her anyway.
The root of Heavenly’s ongoing feud with Mariah is revealed.
Dr. Heavenly has another anger management appointment with Dr. K.
She doesn’t take long to tell him what went down at her crab broil with Mariah. Dr. K feels she demonstrated low emotional intelligence.
“I just can’t stand a liar.” – Heavenly
Heavenly opens up about her family and says she never got along with her sister Denise.
There was always some kind of tension between them.
Mariah reminds her a lot of her sister, and she no longer speaks to her sister because it was always an argument.
Denise never went to college and Heavenly feels she resents Heavenly’s success. She also tells Dr. K. that her mother never told her she loved her but she feels like her actions told her she loved Heavenly.
Damon told Heavenly he loved her and she didn’t know how to receive it at first.
Dr. K. suggests that Heavenly goes back to Miami where she comes from so she can handle her past. He feels her past is the center of her anger issues.
It’s FITNI Field Day.
Simone is surprised Quad actually showed up.
Curtis and Jackie warn everyone not to cheat on the activities. It’s the doctors vs the non doctors for dodgeball first.
Eugene accidentally hits Heavenly in the head with the ball. The non doctors win.
Jackie then pairs all the women with the people they are beefing with. Toya and Contessa. Quad and Simone. Heavenly and Mariah.
Contessa pulls Toya to the side and apologizes for their fallout. She lets Toya know she’s going through some things with her dad. They hug it out but Toya says in a green screen interview that an apology isn’t enough. They need to really talk things out later.
Apparently everyone has been teamed up for a flag game.
Toya and Contessa win the game.
The next game all the ladies must remain on the same team. The game requires them shooting a basketball.
Mariah and Heavenly win that game.
Afterwards, Contessa and Quad catch up. Quad says it’s nice to hang out with the ladies and things not be negative.
Jackie says that the event showed that they can work together despite their differences. Curtis and Jackie kiss and hug it out to celebrate.
Things go left when Toya attempts to hash things out with Contessa at a restaurant.
Toya and Contessa meet for dinner.
Apparently Toya invited Contessa, hoping she can finally get everything off her mind. But Contessa isn’t really receptive because she thought they were cool after she apologized to Toya during FITNI.
“I feel like you’re making something out of nothing.” – Contessa
Since they hugged things out at FITNI, Contessa doesn’t understand why they are still not able to move forward. But Toya says that she is upset that Contessa threw shade about Toya and Eugene’s “In The Black Party” last season.
Contessa feels Toya just wants to fight and she has bigger things to worry about. She also tells Toya that this is all made up and petty.
The waiter comes by and Contessa spends a lot of time asking about the items on the menu. This annoys Toya who feels this proves that Contessa isn’t taking the conversation seriously.
After the waiter leaves, Contessa asks Toya why she wants to have conflict.
“Contessa, can you seriously have a conversation?” – Toya
At this point, Contessa gets annoyed and says she’s leaving. After she gets up to walk out, Toya says one more thing that gets under Contessa’s skin.
“Bye, b*tch.” – Toya
Contessa then returns and tells Toya that she can never check her.
Irritated with Contessa, Toya says that she’s done trying to fix the relationship. She then leaves and Contessa stays behind telling her that drinks are on Toya.
