The Jussie Smollett saga took another turn this morning.
At approximately 5 am Central Time in Chicago, Illinois, “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett turned himself in to police. He was charged with reporting false information to police.
On January 29th, Jussie reported he was assaulted in Chicago by two men, who allegedly hung a noose around his neck and poured bleach on him.
During their investigation into the assault, Chicago Police allegedly discovered a plot surrounding the assault which Jussie concocted.
And according to the Chicago Police Chief during a press conference this morning, Jussie set all of this up because he’s not happy with the money he’s making from “Empire.”
