Looks like things are just getting worse between Candiace and her mom Dorothy.
Dorothy is upset that Candiace is inviting her half-brother to the wedding. Her brother was actually born out of an affair Candiace’s father had years ago.
Despite the affair, Dorothy went on to marry Candiace’s father anyway and then gave birth to Candiace.
So Candiace was hoping that her mother would be able to accept her brother’s presence on her big day.
However, Dorothy is not having it.
And she also feels like Candiace has betrayed her to even do this.
After they had an explosive conversation that went nowhere on the last episode, Candiace attempts to hash things on the next.
Things get worse and Dorothy even calls Candiace a brat:
I know you want your dad…I know you still have daddy issues with your dad. But everything that happened, happened.
You’re the narcissist, you’re the brat, you’re the little princess, you’re the diva. That’s you.
Will Dorothy ever make peace with Candiace’s decision? It’s not looking that way.
