Nipsey Hussle’s sister battles it out in court with his baby’s mother. Both women claim they are rightful guardian to Nipsey’s daughter Emani.
As reported by The Blast, Tanisha Foster, the mother of Emani Asghedom, continues to fight for Emani’s custody.
According to court documents, Tanisha is disputing Samantha Smith’s request for custody of Emani. Previously, Samantha petitioned the court not long after Nipsey’s untimely death.
In fact, on the day of Nipsey’s passing, Tanisha claims Samantha took Emani away from her and refused to return her. Foster believes that “the best interests” of Emani are not being served by Smith’s “act of removing the minor from her mother’s custody; and by refusing contact between minor and mother.”
Previously, Tanisha felt some type of way about people not wishing her well and checking in on her in lieu of Nipsey’s girlfriend Lauren London. Lauren and Nipsey share a child together. It’s rumored that Emani was living with them at the time of Nipsey’s death.
