Joc gets some bad news.
His hair salon caught on fire.
He stops by the shop to see the damage with Kendra. They talk to Sharonda about what happened. She’s wondering if one of the stylists caused the fire.
Kendra gets annoyed and reminds her that she’s the manager.
But Sharonda says that it’s not her fault because Joc hired the stylist who likely caused the fire.
So Kendra and Sharonda start arguing.
Joc gets irritated and leaves the shop with Kendra.
Scrappy wishes co-parenting was easier with Erica.
He plays basketball with Emani.
They have some small talk.
Emani’s 14th birthday is approaching. She wants all the family at the party, including Erica.
Scrappy isn’t sure this is a good idea but he’s willing to give her whatever she wants.
Spice and Shekinah clash.
Shekinah, Sierra and Spice do some wine tasting.
While they wait, they talk about Shekinah’s beef with Akbar V.
She tells them how Akbar tried to call her out at Rasheeda and Kirk’s event.
Shekinah says Akbar needs to be worried about her kids, not her.
Spice gets irritated and tells Shekinah not to talk about Akbar’s kids because that’s wrong.
Shekinah says she’s not talking about Akbar’s kids. Spice understands how hard it is to raise kids in the music industry.
Spice says Shekinah can’t go there because she doesn’t have any kids. She feels like she should be able to tell Shekinah the truth.
But Shekinah feels like Spice is taking her words out of context. So she decides to end the conversation and walks away.
Sierra calms things down.
After Shekinah walks out, Sierra says that both women need to calm down. Spice doesn’t understand why Sierra isn’t upset too but Sierra sees both sides.
So she goes outside to get Shekinah to talk further.
Shekinah comes back and Sierra says that some women have to send their kids away for a time because they have to work. Sierra has done it and so has Spice.
It’s also revealed that Shekinah has had two abortions because she didn’t feel she was ready to be a mother. But she understands why what she said was triggering. So she apologizes and the women toast to moving forward.
Scrapp sees his kids.
He’s thankful that Tiarra agreed to let their child live with him.
Scrapp would love to have his other child too.
With his new restaurant opening up soon, he’s hoping it will be a success so he can take care of his kids.
Kendra meets with Joc’s baby mommas Sina and Alex.
They tell her what they heard from Karlie. The rumor is Joc has been messing around with women at the shop, including Sharonda.
So Kendra knows she needs to confront Joc immediately.
He picks her up and she goes in immediately.
“What’s wrong with you?” – Joc
She tells him what she heard and she’s done with him because he’s a liar.
After she storms off, Joc confronts Sina.
Joc tells Sina needs to fall back and mind her business. But Sina reminds him that he has been in her business before. Joc gets annoyed and walks away.
Spice and Akbar hash it out.
Akbar explains why she has been so hard on Atlanta transplants.
She feels like oftentimes, artists don’t respect the Atlanta artists. So she’s defensive.
They then discuss motherhood.
Both know the struggle and Spice tells Akbar that she can pull through and one day become an example to other young mothers.
Shekinah is then discussed.
Akbar explains they messed around with the same dude, but at different times. But they still have tension.
Spice says they should end their feud and work together. Akbar agrees and they hug it out.
Sierra and BK talk.
BK realizes he was out of line during their recent blowup. He wants her to come home and stop seeing other men. Sierra agrees and they decide to move back in together.
“I love you.” – BK
“I love you, too.” – Sierra
Erica has her baby shower.
Mimi, Karlie, Momma Dee and Rasheeda are in attendance.

Karlie and Rasheeda have their own small talk.
KK invited Karlie to her book signing party. While Karlie wants to go, she doesn’t want Mo to get upset.
The ladies check in on Tokyo.
Spice, Mimi, and Sierra arrive at Tokyo’s place.
Tokyo says her godfather was shot recently. He’s okay but he had to get surgery. She also didn’t have time to grieve her grandmother’s passing.
Plus, her biological father moved to Africa.
Since she doesn’t want to give negative feelings to others, she decided to spend time alone.
They suggest she has her mother come to Atlanta for a little while.
KK has her book signing party.
Of course, her sons and Momma Dee are in attendance.
Momma Dee tells Karen about Emani’s party. KK wants Momma Dee to play nice with CeCe. Momma Dee isn’t so happy to do this because she says CeCe has been talking about her behind her back.
Karlie and Rasheeda come through.
It doesn’t long for Karlie to tell Scrapp she’s happily engaged.
Scrapp thanks Karlie for visiting him while he was locked up. She then says she’s ready to leave and heads out.
Both Scrapp and his brother Sas agree that Karlie was acting very weird.
On the way out, Karlie runs into Joc.
He confronts her about what she told Sina.
Karlie says she doesn’t care what Joc is doing and who he’s with. But Joc tells her she’s been meddling in his relationship by spreading rumors.
Annoyed with the conversation, Karlie walks off.
