Candiace Dillard’s relationship with her mother is a rocky one.
In fact, Candiace feels like it’s unhealthy.
Her mother Dorothy does a lot for Candiace financially.
But Candiace feels like this comes with drawbacks.
Candiace believes Dorothy is too controlling.
They have tried therapy. But Candiace doesn’t feel Dorothy is progressing.
