The Comeback Group seems done for good.

Kimmi and Maurice are hanging out on their back porch. The Comeback Group comes up and Kimmi tells Maurice Melody wants to break away and do her own thing. Kimmi and Maurice want to set up a meeting to handle all of this. However, Melody and Martell aren’t signing the breakup documents, which gives them hope the Holts will come around.

So Marsau meets Maurice at a property and for the comeback group meeting when Martell pulls up. Martell is still cold towards Marsau and Maurice brings up their previous argument. Things once again get personal between Marsau and Martell while Maurice does his best to play mediator. Melody, Kimmi, and LaTisha walk in and things turn into a debate of a buyout. Melody doesn’t think the other four have enough money to buy them out and just wants to dissolve the whole thing. This brings up another argument as both Scott couples still want to have the comeback group.

Martell’s infidelity comes up during the meeting.

Business and personal gripes intertwine as LaTisha brings up Melody gossiping about Martell not wearing his wedding ring. Marsau then brings up his previous argument up to the whole group, accusing Martell of lying on him. Kimmi and Maurice do their best to steer the conversation back to their professional business and the Holts are not budging. While Kimmi and Maurice are ready for attorneys to get involved, LaTisha confronts Marsau about possibly having 20 girlfriends after the meeting. Marsau tells LaTisha that he can’t answer it for her after she asks him if the accusations are true.

Marsau does his best to dodge questions but eventually tells LaTisha that Martell is lying.

Later on, Martell heads out to see his friend Derek and his uncle, Dexter, looking for support. Dexter’s been married for over 20 years and Martell sees him as a father figure. Martell gets honest and tells Dexter about the drama between him and Melody. Martell explains he wanted to have one girlfriend instead of sleeping with multiple women. Dexter explains this resulted in the woman falling in love and is connected to Martell.

Dexter likes the idea of Martell going to counseling. Martell also feels regrets for his action and Dexter tells Martell to tone down the arrogance before it ruins the life of his family and children.

Meanwhile, LaTisha’s mom has her back and after she hears from LaTisha about Marsau’s rumors, she’s ready to check Marsau. But Latisha tells her mom Martell and Melody are making it up and Martell is looking to take the heat off himself.

Martell and Melody play nice once again.

Speaking of Martell and Melody, they are getting the kids ready for an engagement where Melody’s speaking. Despite what’s going on in their marriage, they will put on their game face as not to give anyone any hints something’s wrong. Melody’s being honored by the Boys & Girls Club of Huntsville and she’s excited. But when they all arrive, Melody ignores Martell. She says it’s because she’s not checking for him. Despite this, her speech goes well. Martell further feels regrets about his marital mistakes and wants to right his wrongs.

The Scott family is coming together for dinner. Everyone is celebrating their mom Cassandra’s new home. Marsau’s friend Cedarric shows up with his family. After dinner, Cedarric, Marsau, Maurice and their wives are talking when the comeback group comes up. Marsau tells everyone that his beef with Martell is furthering souring the group. Cedarric suggests he hosts an intervention between Martell and Marsau. But Marsau isn’t ready to speak about their business.

LaTisha and Melody clash.

Lastly, LaTisha and Melody meet up for coffee and things get a little hairy between the two. Melody’s positive about everything but felt LaTisha had negative feelings almost immediately into their conversation. Melody asks what her issue is and LaTisha says she was not attentive towards her after her aunt and mom passed. She then tells LaTisha she plays the victim. Things get tense when Martell and Marsau come up. LaTisha calls Martell’s statements false and Melody scoffs at this. Melody says she didn’t tell her anything because she feels LaTisha wouldn’t believe her. And she says Marsau’s time at bars alone isn’t innocent.

LaTisha prepares to leave the conversation but says Martell bought his mistress a BMW on the way out.
