Heavenly talks to Damon about Toya’s event.
Damon tells Heavenly he knows what went down at Toya’s sip and paint party. Heavenly says she felt it was in poor taste. And Toya was wrong to plan to have n*ked men there. But she didn’t tell him because she didn’t have the time to. In a green screen interview, Damon says that he didn’t like that someone picked up Heavenly. But he doesn’t want to talk about it anymore.
It’s almost time for the women to head to Savannah for Jackie’s trip. She tells Curtis that she wants to help the women heal and mend their friendships. Heavenly is the first to arrive. Mariah is next and Jackie says that she’s back on good terms with Mariah after she apologized. But Mariah can be tricky and things could go left again in the near future.
Heavenly shades Toya.
After all the ladies get there, they load up on the bus. After the women congratulate Toya for closing on her second house, Heavenly says owning a home isn’t an accomplishment. In fact, hers is almost paid off. Toya says that should be the case because Heavenly’s house is only worth $50,000. Heavenly then says she makes three times what Toya does. Contessa then sarcastically says that this is the beginning of a wonderful girls trip.
When the women arrive to the house they will be staying in, they are greeted and told about some haunting moments that have taken place there. Jackie assigns the women to different bedrooms in pairs. She puts people together that actually get along. Jackie and Contessa will be in one room, Heavenly, and Quad, Simone and Buffie, as well as Mariah and Toya.
It’s time for dinner.
While the women are out having dinner, Contessa gets a text message from Scott saying he’s going out of town to party with one of his friends who is celebrating a birthday. They haven’t been getting along. Jackie and Toya tell Contessa not to be passive-aggressive with Scott and just tell him how she feels. After Jackie says that she wants all the women to work on their relationships with each other, Mariah says Jackie has tried to push the group to do this many times. And it hasn’t worked. But Quad says a reset is good for everyone.
Jackie wants to talk about girl codes they should all follow. So everyone writes one down. Mariah’s code is not telling lies on each other. In a green screen interview, Mariah says Jackie is a culprit. Heavenly and Simone have a tense moment after Heavenly says Simone lied on her. And she never said anything about Cecil that Simone didn’t already say on the show herself.
Jackie and Mariah have another moment.
Mariah says that Jackie presented Quad’s accusations as if they were coming from Jackie. Jackie recognizes this and says that they should all fact check before they say something.
Buffie breaks down and cries. She struggles to have friendships with women. She thinks she is too successful and women ask her for money all the time. So she feels like sometimes she can’t tell people she’s “killing it.”
Simone’s code is that the husbands should always be off-limits. And it’s not acceptable for the women to attack each other’s husbands.
Mariah looks a little bit irritated after Quad says she wants to add that everyone needs to be accountable for their actions. In a green screen interview, Mariah says all the women are allowing Quad to get away with defaming her.
Quad doesn’t back down.
By the end of the dinner, Toya decides to stay behind to talk to Quad. She brings up the drug accusations and tells Quad that Mariah is really hurt. And she went with Mariah to get a strand drug test and it came back negative. The test went back to 5 to 10 years. Quad refuses to accept this and says the test was inconclusive. Toya then asks if she and Mariah can ever be cordial. And Quad says how things are currently is the best they can do.
Toya goes off on Heavenly.
When they get back on the bus, Mariah says it’s not okay for them to sit back and not call out Quad for slandering her. Quad gets mad and Toya tells her to just let Mariah finish her thoughts first. Heavenly then says that she believes the accusations are true. She then goes off and brings up the accusations Mariah made about Damon last season. Contessa gets fed up and walks off the bus once they pull up to the house. In a green screen interview, she says she’s over all the accusations Mariah and Quad have made about each other. And she’s not defending either of them.
Toya tells Heavenly to stay out of it. Heavenly gets mad and tells Toya to get out of her face. Toya then calls Heavenly loud and ghetto. Heavenly claps back with her favorite, “yo momma.” Toya then says her mother is ghetto and she will “whoop” Heavenly’s a*s.
Mariah breaks down.
After the women get off the bus, the chaos continues with Heavenly still trying to argue with Mariah about what was said about Damon.
Mariah and Quad have a little back and forth before Mariah calls Aydin when she gets in the room. She breaks down crying and Toya consoles her. Before the episode ends, Mariah and Toya go for a walk before they pray together.
