Scott and Contessa continue to have tension.
While the cast is still in Cabo, Simone wants them to play an honesty game. She asks if a couple can get through one person working in another state. Scott speaks and asks if it’s okay if one spouse yells at another out in public. Contessa says that Scott has actually yelled at her in public. And she chose to walk away.
When Simone asks if a person needs a spouse’s permission to change careers and go back to school, Mariah says that every decision made affects everyone in the household. So communication is key. Contessa says it’s a double standard because women always have to make sacrifices in the relationship. And men aren’t told to put their families first like women are.
Contessa reveals her past disappointments.
Damon says he would support Heavenly changing careers. After Heavenly says that’s what a man does, Contessa says that’s what Damon would do, not all men. Scott chimes in and says that Contessa going back to school complicated things in their household even though he supported her. Contessa gets emotional and storms off.
Buffie goes to check on Contessa. Scott tells the others that things could have been simple if Contessa went back to school in Atlanta. Meanwhile, Contessa tells Buffie that Scott never brought the kids to Nashville. In a green screen interview, Contessa says she loved being in the Navy. She was in a long-distance relationship with Scott the whole time they dated. He moved to Atlanta after they were married. He told her he didn’t want to keep moving around with the kids, so she quit the military.
Buffie agrees that it’s a double standard that women have to live by but communication is very important. They are going to have to hash things out so their marriage will survive.
Jackie tries to make things right with Buffie.
Later that night, Simone wants to have a Living Single Night for Quad. No husbands allowed. And Cecil will take the guys out to dinner and the strip club. In a green screen interview, Simone says she’s not upset by this because it can’t compare to Toya’s Sip and Paint.
Before the Living Single celebration kicks off, Jackie pulls Buffie to the side to say that she was wrong to tell the audience at her event that Buffie is infertile. It wasn’t her place to say that. Buffie appreciates this and says Jackie still should have known better in her green screen interview.
Heavenly puts Quad all the way on blast.
The women then play Shag, Marry, and Kill. Meanwhile, Cecil takes the men to the strip club. One stripper dances in Damon’s lap and asks if he wants to have s*x. He says he can’t.
When they get to Quad and ask her who she would marry, Heavenly says Common. She also says that Quad already slept with Common. In a green screen interview, Heavenly laughs. Quad denies this to the other women.
Heavenly is not pleased.
The men make it back to the hotel around 2:30 in the morning. Aydin tells Mariah where they went. Eugene tells Toya about the stripper dancing on Damon.
As Damon sleeps to nearly 8 am, Heavenly wakes him up and asks him where he went the previous night. He tells her they went to the strip club. After Damon tells Heavenly that a stripper was in his lap, Heavenly gets mad. But Damon reminds her that a stripper grabbed her at the Sip and Paint. Regardless, Heavenly gets mad and storms off.
She goes to see Simone and Jackie. Both women can tell that Heavenly is upset Damon went to the strip club. Although she tries to play it off, she eventually says she doesn’t want any woman looking at and touching her man. In a green screen interview, Simone says maybe Heavenly’s marriage isn’t perfect after all.
