Yandy Smith is having some difficulties in some of her friendships as of late. She fell out with Kimbella Vanderhee last season after Kimbella said Yandy adopted Infinity for image reasons. Although both women attempted to work out their issues since then, Kimbella is still very critical of Yandy. And she’s been making it much harder for Yandy and Chrissy Lampkin to hash out their issues from years ago.
Yandy is also having some problems with Safaree Samuels. In a deleted scene, Yandy confronts Safaree for becoming distant since getting serious with Erica Mena. She didn’t like that Safaree didn’t even speak to her at Remy Ma’s party to celebrate getting off parole.
After Yandy tells Safaree that she misses how they used to talk on the phone every day, Safaree says, “I have a girl now. Things are different.”
Safaree’s cold responses bring Yandy to tears.
