Tamar has had issues with WE tv.
“Braxton Family Values” star Tamar Braxton has been in the headlines for the last couple of days. It was reported that she tried to commit suicide. According to the report, she drank alcohol and took multiple pills while staying at a hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Her boyfriend David Adefeso is said to be the one who found her unconscious.
She was then rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. As of now, she is in stable condition.
In the meantime, a lot of reports keep coming out. And they are all about what could have led to the tragic situation. Before Tamar was found unconscious, she vented about her issues with things behind the scenes with WE tv. BFV has been a huge hit for the network for years. But Tamar has accused the network of underpaying her and her family. And she pointed out the fact that the Braxtons make 75 percent of what the Kardashians make with their show.
Tamar also thinks the show has gotten too negative. And family problems are being used to be the source of drama on the show. Over time, this has ruined the relationships between the sisters. Tamar feels the producers are to blame for this. She claims she’s been trying to get out of her contract. But she’s been unsuccessful.
More allegations surface.
So she was hoping things would be different on her new show, “Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life.”
But when she saw the official trailer for the show a couple of days ago, she was upset about how she was portrayed. She’s been trying to be more positive and she didn’t think the trailer showed that.
Now Page Six is making some interesting claims in a new report.
According to the report, Tamar actually called out WE tv in an email weeks ago. The message was in response to an email the network sent to show solidarity with the Black Lives Matter Movement. She accused the network of destroying her family for ratings. Tamar may have also hinted at a physical altercation taking place between family members due to the drama from the show. She said that the family is now “physically assaulting each other.”
At this point, Tamar feels like a slave to the network. She even changed her name to Tamar “Slave” Braxton on her Twitter account.
Page Six is also reporting that Tamar felt blindsided by the network when they brought in Mona Scott Young to produce “Get Ya Life.” According to the publication, Tamar allegedly did not want to work with Mona and told the network this. However, they reportedly brought her in despite this.
