Toya and Eugene have always been transparent.
When it comes to Toya Bush-Harris, the “Married to Medicine” star is no stranger to criticism. In fact, she’s gotten a lot of it over the years. This is especially true since she and Dr. Eugene Harris have been so transparent on the show. So when they had issues with tax debt, they didn’t run away from sharing the obstacle.
The couple allowed the viewers to see the ins and outs of the trying time.
And they were also happy to show what life became after the debt was paid off.
So it’s no surprise that Toya is also being open about how she and her family are adjusting amid the pandemic. While there will be plenty of children getting homeschooled and taking classes online, Toya’s sons are back in school.
She shared this with her Instagram followers.
Toya responded to the backlash.
While some of her followers were supportive, others called her out.
After one of her followers said she spends money on useless things and could have homeschooled the kids instead, Toya responded.
She wrote, “And you let me parent my children and stop trying to judge, shame, and voice useless comments on my IG!”
Another follower thanked Toya for the post. The Instagram user said they’ve been getting backlash from their own family for sending their son back to his small charter school.
In response, Toya wrote, “God is in control! We are covered by the blood and shall not live in fear. We are taking all the precautions. Averys class actually has only 6 students returning and Ashtons only 7…all others have chosen to virtual learning. We believe we have the right school and our kids are very happy.”
