Ghost’s death has only complicated things for Tariq and Tasha. On the season premiere of “Power Book II: Ghost,” Tariq is still focused on getting Tasha out of prison. However, this will continue to be hard to do since Tasha isn’t willing to name Tariq as the shooter. So when she’s able to get a good deal on the table that will result in no prison time, she backs out after she’s told that she still has to come clean.
Tariq is then forced to find another attorney. This new attorney is high profile and requires quite a bit of cash to work on Tasha’s freedom.
So Tariq will have to get back into the drug game to get the money.
However, more pressure is applied to Saxe. So in order to save himself, he turns on Tariq and Tasha. So the stakes only get higher.
Outside of helping Tasha, Tariq is still trying to get adjusted to college. His new roommate Ezekiel is a star basketball player. So Tariq is tasked to tutor him in order to keep his spot at the school. They develop a friendship and Tariq meets Ezekiel’s family. This includes his aunt and cousins who have ties to a gang member who is currently in prison for murder. And by the looks of things, he’s not the only one involved in crime.
