“Love And Hip Hop New York” star Yandy Smith has lived a good bit of her life out on the successful reality show. However, she opened up even more on “Uncensored.” On the show, Yandy discussed her upbringing. And she discussed her eventful time at Violator Management. Then, of course, she also touched on what she experienced being Jim Jones’ manager. However, one of the most emotional aspects of the episode was Yandy discussing her relationship with Mendeecees Harris.
The love affair played out on the show. And there may have been moments of drama, but they had a lot of happy moments on the show, too.
Yandy worried about people seeing her life’s imperfections.
Most LHHNY fans can recall the lavish wedding the couple had on television.
However, they were shocked to learn that the marriage was not made legal. Later on in the show, Yandy would explain why. And while many fans understood, Yandy did get a lot of criticism. And some were also critical of Mendeecees’ legal issues. This is something that she actually feared.
In fact, after Yandy fell out with Kimbella, Kimbella would go on to call her Yandy Smith “No Harris.” Despite this kind of criticism, Yandy still believed that the best decision was made when it comes to the entire situation.
Yandy also revealed how Mendeecees getting locked up nearly took her life. And if it wasn’t for her mother stepping in, she’s not sure that she nor her son would have survived.
