While fans have a lot to say about Ashley writing a character statement to help Monique Samuels, people also have a lot to say about Robyn Dixon’s comments. Robyn told Gizelle Bryant that she didn’t like the photos Karen Huger took for Robyn’s Embellished hat line.
According to Robyn, she wanted a more “youthful” look. Many felt as if Robyn’s comments were a dig at Karen’s age. Karen is 57 years old.
Karen felt it was ageist too and she clapped back on “The Wendy Williams Show.” And she said that Robyn looks like “a hard 40.” She also said that Gizelle Bryant’s “Every Hue” company has been liquidated.

Robyn has also been getting called out on social media and accused of being an ageist. However, one of her Instagram followers said they believed Robyn’s words were taken out of context. They were under the impression that Robyn meant she wanted “youthful energy” for the photo shoot.
In response to this, Robyn wrote, “Thank you for understanding what I was saying! I just wanted playfulness and smiles from the ladies. I didn’t express myself well but I definitely wasn’t referring to her age. ? ”
