Gregg Leakes and NeNe Leakes have been through a lot.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” husband Gregg Leakes has seen NeNe Leakes go through plenty since season one of the hit show. But one of the couple’s hardest battles was Gregg’s fight with cancer. He was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. As Gregg fought for his life, the couple also had to come to terms with the state of their marriage. According to NeNe, she and Gregg were already having a lot of problems before he had cancer. And there were times that NeNe wasn’t sure they would stay married.
Gregg is now cancer-free. So he’s been trying to be NeNe’s support system now that she’s done with “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
While she figured she would be on the cast for season 13, she was offered a shorter amount of episodes. This wasn’t something she was happy about. In addition to this, NeNe said she wasn’t offered much money when she asked for a budget to do her own show. So she decided to walk away and she accused Andy Cohen of being racist. NeNe also said that she thinks she wasn’t being treated as well as her non-black peers, including Kim Zolciak.
Gregg Leakes has something to say.
During NeNe’s time on the show, her friendships with Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams were tested. And NeNe is no longer friends with Cynthia. But she is on good terms with Porsha. However, Gregg recently sent a message on social media. He needs people to know that whoever NeNe isn’t cool with, he’s not cool with.
He posted a photo of NeNe to Instagram. In the caption, he wrote, “She don’t mess with you – I don’t mess with you…#teamleakes”
