Ashley Darby has been supporting Monique Samuels after the altercation.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” has been very controversial during the current season. Of course, Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels’ altercation continues to be a hot topic on the show and social media. As of now, Candiace has a lot of support from her castmates. In fact, Robyn Dixon, Gizelle Bryant, and Wendy Osefo have refused to film with Monique since the altercation. They said they didn’t feel like she was actually remorseful. It was also rumored last year that the women may have been working towards getting Monique pushed off the show. However, Ashley Darby and Karen Huger have continued to film with Monique.
As for Ashley, she’s taken her support of Monique even further. She wrote a character statement to aid Monique in her countersuit against Candiace.

This completely caught Candiace off guard since she’s been working on developing a friendship with Ashley. However, Ashley made it clear that she hasn’t gotten over Candiace throwing a butter knife at her last year. Plus, she still feels some type of way about the tweets Candiace penned while she was in labor. So Ashley feels as if she owes Candiace nothing. And she’s chosen to be loyal to Monique.
Interestingly enough, Ashley’s actions on the recent episode have confused some of the viewers. She’s been receiving criticism, too. However, it doesn’t seem as if Ashley cares about the backlash.
