The altercation resulted in a lot of drama on RHOP.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” wrapped up its most popular season yet. In fact, it’s clear that the drama was a lot for the cast to handle. Most of it stemmed from the fact that Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels had an altercation. There were issues that led to their tension, but the blowup was one no one could anticipate happening. As a result of the fight, it seemed as if it came down to who was Team Candiace and who was Team Monique.
Gizelle Bryant wasted no time in siding with Candiace. And she said she no longer wanted to be around her. Wendy Osefo and Robyn Dixon also supported Candiace.
Meanwhile, Ashley Darby was Team Monique. She even wrote a character statement to help Monique’s countersuit against Candiace.
As for Karen Huger, she wanted to remain natural. In her opinion, both women were wrong. She also took issue with Candiace not admitting she “released” a wine glass on Monique. According to Karen, Candiace admitted such in legal documents.
Some fans are taking things too far.
To no surprise, a lot of the fans of the show took sides as well. And many felt some type of way about the cast’s reaction to the altercation.
Robyn has complained about receiving nasty comments from people on social media. She also said that she didn’t receive so many hateful comments until she chose to support Candiace after the altercation took place.
Interestingly enough, Candiace recently showed off hateful comments she received.
