A new wife was added to the “Married to Medicine” cast.
“Married to Medicine” returns in March, and fans have already had plenty to say about the trailer for season 8. Mariah Huq is out, and she said that she was taking steps to file a lawsuit. She accused production company Purveyors of Pop of mistreatment behind the scenes. Mariah also alleged that she was not allowed to wear a hijab during her green screen interviews. And she said that she wasn’t allowed to be a part of the spinoff shows even though it was allegedly something she was promised in her contract.
With both Mariah and Buffie Purselle being out, Bravo has decided to bring in a new doctor’s wife. And her name is Anila Sajaa.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes rubbed Anila Sajaa the wrong way.
Anila’s heritage is Indian American. And just like with Mariah, she will waste no time clashing with Dr. Heavenly Kimes. In fact, in the trailer Heavenly doesn’t seem to take Anila’s career as a blogger seriously. Toya Bush-Harris said in a green screen interview that Heavenly was rude to do this.
And later on in the trailer, Anila seems to return the same energy as the wives discuss the fact that they feel like they aren’t looked at as intelligent since they aren’t doctors.
Well, Heavenly responded to Anila’s shade.
