Mariah Huq won’t be on season 8 of “Married to Medicine.”
“Married to Medicine” star Mariah Huq has been in the headlines plenty since confirming she won’t be on the upcoming season. After contracts were sent out for season 8, she revealed she didn’t get one. She would later do an interview to say much more. In the interview, she made a lot of accusations about what happened behind the scenes. Mariah accused the producers of telling her she couldn’t wear a hijab while filming her green screen interviews.
She also brought up the spinoff shows. Mariah alleged that she was not allowed to have any say so with the other shows. And she also said that it was specified in her contract that she would have involvement with the spinoffs.
Things have turned legal.
When it comes to the drug accusations made by Quad Webb, Mariah thinks they were used to push her off the show. So she decided it would only be right to file a lawsuit against the production company, Purveyors of Pop.
Mariah has received a lot of support since making the accusations. In fact, some of her fans created a petition in support of her and NeNe Leakes. They have called for a boycott of Bravo.
Interestingly enough, Mariah’s foe Dr. Heavenly Kimes had some nice things to say about Mariah and “Married to Medicine” recently.

Heavenly & Funky Dineva called Mariah a f*cking liar and a b*tch in their joint YouTube lives last month. Heavenly refused to thank Mariah in all her YouTube lives for creating the show but suddenly she is praising M after M filed her lawsuit. Heavenly also begged people not to boycott Bravo if they want to see her on M2M Atlanta.

Sometimes people have to sit back and reflect. It may take others longer than normal but I appreciate her acknowledging and giving Mariah her flowers. So for that I would say Thank you for speaking the truth even though you two are not in good terms

The one thing about this show and Atlanta Housewives is that constantly show Africa American women in a bad light. In light of the societal issues in the black community, it is so disheartening to see African-American women being so petty. Heavenly and all women of both franchises that have daughters are setting a standard that illustrates to their daughters that it’s okay to act ghetto and ignorant. These are “professional” women. Ladies, you must do and be better, particularly for the sake of your daughters. Use your platform to lift each other up instead of using it to pull your sisters down.

Heavenly is up to something for her to thank Mariah. She has bashed Mariah on everything and every action for years. Heavenly has accused Mariah of buying fans and likes on social media, being a drug user,spreading false rumors and bugging Damon’s car as a few of things she’s said. Heavenly is full of bull.
