“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss is passionate about helping single-parent families. In fact, this is one of the main reasons why she started her Kandi Cares nonprofit organization. Kandi was a single mother herself, and she’s been open about not having any financial support from Riley Burruss’ father. While some fans are in support of her legally getting unpaid child support, others have questioned this since Kandi is a multimillionaire. Regardless, Riley has made it clear that getting the money she is owed is important to her. And she believes her father, Russell “Block” Spencer, needs to pay up as she begins her journey at NYU.
On the recent episode, Kandi had the ladies come out to her latest Kandi Cares charity event. People purchased groceries for single-parent families as the pandemic rages on. Quite a few of the ladies also donated money to Kandi’s charity organization.
Porsha Williams and Marlo Hampton each donated $5000. And Drew Sidora donated an undisclosed amount of money.
Viewers are speculating about who didn’t donate.
In a green screen interview, Kandi said that she was shocked to see that some of the women weren’t as generous as she thought they would be. This gave some viewers the impression that some people in the group didn’t donate any money.
Interestingly enough, Kandi’s friend and assistant Don Juan may have spilled the tea hours ago.
