Heavenly gets an important phone call.
Reverend Al Sharpton calls Heavenly. He’s impressed by Damon’s Covid mobile testing he’s been doing in Atlanta. He wants Damon and the other doctors to come to the upcoming march in Washington and test people. Heavenly says she will ask Damon if he’s open to this but she thinks he’ll be honored to do so.
Could crystals save the group?
Contessa talks to her cousin about using crystals to help her deal with stress. She wonders if crystals can tell her if Scott has a side chick. In a green screen interview, Contessa says no one can ever really know what another person won’t do or will do.
She wants to plan an event that will bring all the ladies together and she wants her cousin to educate them all about crystal healing.
The men are optimistic about Jackie and Simone’s friendship.
Cecil and Simone talk about Jackie. She doesn’t really think Jackie really misses her. And Jackie was acting distant at Heavenly’s party for Damon.
As for Jackie, she tells Curtis that if she did go to Heavenly’s family basketball game, it would have been awkward with Simone. And she doesn’t think Simone would have really wanted to speak to her.
In a green screen interview, Cecil says that Simone and Jackie are both stubborn. But there’s hope that the two women will work out their issues. And Curtis feels that Jackie’s heart is big enough to make things right and take the first steps necessary.
The men are ready to answer Al Sharpton’s call.
All the husbands get together to play some golf at Top Golf. Damon tells them about being asked by Al Sharpton to do mobile Covid testing at the upcoming march in Washington. The men are all down for this and thrilled at Damon’s suggestion of getting there by a private jet. Of course, the women will join them.
With Miles, Damon Jr. and Zachary there to play golf and hang out, the men ask them about how they feel about Black Lives Matter. The young men support the movement and Eugene and the others feel like it’s always the young people that drive change. Congressman John Lewis was young when he got involved in the Civil Rights Movement.
Quad came for Heavenly.
It’s the day of Contessa’s crystal healing event. Heavenly and her friend and blogger Funky Dineva are en route. They discuss Quad who’s currently on vacation. Apparently, Quad got upset after Heavenly left some emojis on a recent photo of her she shared on Instagram. Heavenly meant to show love for how great Quad looked, but Quad took it as shade. And she clapped back pretty hard, even going in on Heavenly’s body.
Heavenly tells Funky Dineva she feels sorry for Quad because she has no husband and no kids.
Funky tells Heavenly to not be shady. Regardless, Heavenly is hopeful she’ll work things out with Quad soon.
Toya is rolling with Lisa Nicole and Kari.
As the other women start to arrive, Toya is running late. And she’s bringing Lisa Nicole and Kari with her. They discuss Quad and Kari thinks she’s been acting like Megan Thee Stallion in her latest pictures. Butt transfers come up and the ladies think a lot of women are getting the same butt.
Toya and the others get there. And in a green screen interview, Heavenly says she doesn’t know where Toya gets her “recycled friends” from.
Some apologies are given.
With everyone there, Contessa’s event begins. Her cousin tells the ladies to pass a crystal around to say what they want to be forgiven for. Simone says she apologizes for ever saying anything hurtful. Anila apologizes for her comments about Black Lives Matter. Jackie apologizes for not standing up for things when she should have. Heavenly apologizes for coming for Toya recently. In a green screen interview, Toya says that Heavenly’s apologies don’t mean much because she’ll be messy again soon.
Contessa feels as if the only people who really made up were Heavenly and Anila over the Black Lives Matter conversation they had previously. Anila said that she too experienced racism as an Indian American and Heavenly wanted her to remember Black Lives Matter focused on black lives. Jackie and Simone still aren’t ready to talk.
Progress is made.
Jackie and Simone talk. For Jackie, the Buffie situation was devastating. And she wanted Simone to speak up for her. She didn’t have ill intentions when she called Buffie infertile at her event. At the same time, she understands she should have stood up for Simone when the drama with Heavenly happened.
Simone was there for Jackie when she battled cancer. So their friendship is irreplaceable. Both women agree to take the steps required to fix their friendship. They really love and missed each other.
