Mia Thornton is starting her first season on RHOP with a bang.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” newbie Mia Thornton caused some eyebrows to raise thanks to the previous episode. While she was at Karen Huger’s love event, she said that she and her husband Gordon Thornton met at a strip club. But she was a bartender at the time.
Candiace Dillard and Ashley Darby questioned this in their green screen interviews. Both said that they believe Mia used to be a stripper and she’s not quite ready to tell the whole truth.
Interestingly enough, Mia is already not on the best terms with Wendy Osefo. Wendy has been questioning Mia’s loyalty to Karen and she thinks Mia’s choice to ask Gizelle Bryant for her number was shady since it was Karen who brought her into the group.
So they exchanged shade on social media and Wendy said that everyone knows that Mia is a stripper. And this led to Mia opening up about her past on Instagram.
On the upcoming episode, Mia has more to say about it. But she only has the other women even more skeptical.
