Porsha Williams received backlash over her relationship with Simon Guobadia.
Porsha Williams had social media in shambles after she revealed her engagement to Simon Guobadia. The first time Simon appeared on the show, his wife Falynn Guobadia was showing Porsha around their home and invited her to enjoy the pool and hookah. Falynn was even introduced as a friend of Porsha’s, and it seemed as if the two women were in a good place. However, Porsha would later tell her supporters that she and Falynn were actually never friends. Falynn promptly unfollowed Porsha after she confirmed the engagement.
Porsha would later say that she wasn’t the reason for Simon and Falynn’s divorce. And they had been together a month before making the announcement.
Although Porsha said that she didn’t do anything malicious, some people weren’t so convinced. They felt like Porsha crossed the line by getting engaged to a coworker’s husband. And she broke the girl code.
Kenya Moore is one of those people who believe Porsha’s latest moves are “snakish.” So some fans of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” were thinking that she would be the one to call Porsha out during the upcoming season.
Is Porsha Williams ready to leave RHOA over her engagement?
Interestingly enough, blogger B Scott is reporting that Porsha allegedly isn’t sure she wants to remain on RHOA and have her engagement the topic of conversation.
At the moment, Porsha is currently filming her 8 episode special for Bravo. It is supposedly going to focus on her activism, her career, as well as her romance with Simon. So B Scott is hearing that she’s not seeing the need for her to return to RHOA and deal with the “negativity” surrounding her engagement. She allegedly fears that not only will people call her out on Falynn’s behalf, but they could bring other women on the show who claim to have had dealings with Simon. No matter what, Porsha will still have a place at Bravo thanks to “Bravo’s Chat Room.” So Porsha doesn’t feel any pressure to return for season 14 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
B Scott is also reporting that Cynthia Bailey will not hold a peach but friend status is still possible. But producers are seriously considering giving Marlo Hampton a peach or bringing Sheree Whitfield back in. However, Sheree would have to accept a pay cut. And Cynthia’s former salary is enough to give Sheree and Marlo peaches.
The blogger is also reporting that Drew Sidora won’t return as a peach holder. She’s filming Porsha’s spinoff and could be a friend on RHOA next season. But LaToya Ali appears to be out altogether.
Kenya and Kandi Burrus are both set to return with peaches, but producers allegedly want 7 housewives so they are having to interview other prospects. But it hasn’t been easy because it’s “slim pickings” in Atlanta.
