Candiace Dillard has made controversial comments about Ashley Darby.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” fans had a lot to say about the latest back and forth moment between Candiace Dillard and Ashley Darby. For Candiace, she loathes Ashley because she wrote a character statement that ultimately kept Monique Samuels out of jail. Ashley said it was about being a loyal friend to Monique. But Candiace is convinced Ashley only did it out of spite.
Things have gotten tense between them before. And during one argument, Candiace sent a butter knife flying in Ashley’s direction. So it doesn’t seem as if the two women will be friendly anytime soon. Regardless, some fans still felt Candiace crossed the line when she called Ashley wide bodied. Her comments are a result of Ashley telling Wendy Osefo what Gizelle Bryant said about the rumors about Eddie Osefo.
Candiace denied body-shaming Ashley. She had more to say about the situation during the After Show. And she explained why what she said wasn’t body-shaming. As for the rest of the cast, they believe that’s exactly what Candiace did. Karen Huger even thinks Candiace may need to learn to be quiet at times.
